Jhalana Leopard Safari | Female Leopard with Cub | Wildlife Safari Vlog

- On August 1st, 2020, we visited Jhalana Leopard Safari Park in Jaipur, Rajasthan. We were extremely grateful to our Safari Guide and Driver for a breathtaking experience in the park. In less than 2 hours, we saw three grown-up leopards and a cub.
The Jhalana Leopard Safari is divided into 3 zones. One can use a single permit to visit all 3 zones in a single safari.
Our first leopard was a big dominant male of Zone 1 of the park. We heard a few Nilgai calls when we finally saw him sitting in the bushes. He looked in a mood to hunt and even walked for a few minutes. It looked like he is going to stalk a deer or a Nilgai to hunt but then decided to rest again. We believe this was maybe because his cover was blown and he wanted to wait for the night before making the kill.
The second sighting was a leopard mother and her cub sitting on a tree. This was beautiful to watch in wild. After around 15 minutes, we saw her climbing down the tree. There was a peacock in the vicinity, which the leopard cub started stalking. The peacock gave alarm calls to alert other animals.
Right before we were about to exit the park, we saw another male leopard in front of our jeep. The light was really bad and we could not capture him clearly but the thrill was unparalleled.

You have to book 6. The 7th person will be the driver. 🙏🏻

Loved the leopard walk at 8:30. I wonder what the current state of the park is as there were heavy rains in Jaipur in the past two weeks.
As per our discussion with the drivers of Jhalana, currently a lot of tracks have been washed out. But this will resume to normal soon. 🙏🏻

Hi, thank you Suvradeep. For Jhalana, half day and full day can only be booked from the window. You can send them the id, call them and book in advance.
