Those are all fantastic. Simple but stunning. It helps that you have the prettiest colors of cardstock scraps. I have a “hello” word die with a shadow piece that I’ll try this out with.
Haha! I have plenty of 'other' colours too, but a rainbow always makes me happy when I'm crafting! No need for a shadow die - it works just with the word, too, if you like that look! Thanks for watching!
Such cute idea’s with no expense!! You hit a home run with these layouts! I’m trying to get Christmas cards done, and I thought I could find a simple Christmas tree die and use Christmas colored paper….and make that first card. I think the second card could also work with merry, Joy or Noel for the word…Thanks again Ardyth this is an “oldie” but a Great one ! Thanks so much helping me out, with another AMAZING card!
These cards are awesome. Love clean & simple designs. Ones that use scraps are the best of all! The bulk of my crafting supplies are dies, so cards created using card stock only are perfect. Thanks for sharing your designs.
Wow - Ardyth, I am in total awe! All of your 3 cards are just so fresh and beautiful. I think I will start a new batch of cards if I may borrow some of your ideas? Thank you.
You took the style of adding strips of colored cardstock and did some creative and beautiful things! I especially liked the large heart where you added the white cardstock BEFORE die cutting. I feel I would have been doing that one the hard way. . . :D
LOVE these cards! Also loved that you left in the initial heart Fail. It’s nice to know I’m not the only one who sometimes wastes lots of time trying to save or reuse a scrap piece!
These cards are amazing! I’m kind of a stamping purest and usually shy away from designs that don’t include some stamping, however, I can really see a need for creating these beauties. It just might be my next project. Thank you for another great video.
I realized during the filming that I almost always stamp at least part of my sentiment! And I probably would prefer these ones with some stamping, but it's fun to try something different! Thanks for watching, Stefanie!
Fantastic ideas for your scraps and beautifully created cards. Loved all your tips which will help many crafters, the easy way is definitely preferable but not always so obvious to us all as I realised nmyself whilst watching your video lol. I will have to buy some die panel strip cutters, they look soo much fun and will defo make the job easier! May I ask what adhesive you used to glue your paper strips please? Tfs x
Thanks! I used my 'regular' glue runner which is Tombo Dots Adhesive - it is forgiving enough that I can pull a strip back up if I don't get it in the exact right place, but then it holds permanently once everything is pressed down firmly. Thanks for watching!
@@craftaholic9897 Haha! Me too - finding the dots rather than the solid tape made a real difference for me! (also, my metal cricut spatula is a great tool for lifting panels that need to be adjusted!)
