I found something pretty interesting when he's paired with Smoke. He gives Smoke essentially another free loop of the F1 2 Grab string with the UpPunch in Aftershock.
You can do the same by dash cancelling, if you have already canceled a dash in a combo before the f1,2 grab you can enhance the dash to cancel it again, not worth the bar tho
Been using him with Shao, so much damage. Doesn't change his general gameplan other then adding in a lot of damage, pushing the mid 40's on his basic BnB's. Also gives him some much needed zoning as well
As Shao mains, we need to accept that Motaro is our boy. We need that shield to stop opponents flushing us away and taking control of neutral. The crystalline shield is useful, but it's not as fast or effective as Motaros shield

Also I do believe that frame data chancing for Tremor depending on the character is intentional, considering that the keeping of the opponent standing after the Aftershock Low Kameo move is a thing as well. Perhaps NRS/WB did this on purpose for us to use it for various techs.
Some characters can combo off of metallic lava burst and low boulder toss if used as an ambush which is very useful. Omni-man can also have some crazy setups with aftershock ground pound and low boulder on metallic with his forward 2 and 2 2 string with the overhead being the second hit in the string.
as soon as this came out, I got tremor to mastery 15 in about 20 minutes Every single character and cameo is at the highest level 35-15 respectively It takes a minute, but if you proceed through the seasonal tower enough I am receiving almost 40,000 experience currently on tower, 90
I play Reiko/Frost. Im not skilled enough to have mastered the Darrius Kameo with him. But I think I can manage this... I'll have to see. Looks like Sub-Zero will have MUCH needed help if the uppercut stays -7 on block.
@@exorder2005 unless they change his frame data, I doubt it. Tremor does almost everything the other kameos do but better. Decent projectiles that can even mix up, a safe launcher, a comboing low that can be set up for hard to block scenarios, hit stun reduction, kameo attacks to space rush downs and even out range them. You’re about to see every pro hop on it, every pro main them, and every one using tremor for the next few weeks. The new Cyrax.
@@Akela_akilla How does that make any sense, the low rock has a gap you can jab punish him through, the lava blast in metallic leaves them half screen, sure you're +4, frost does the same off of her ice spike, it's nothing special. Armor takes forever to start up. Goro arguably better than him in every aspect just cuz of the ambush assist not costing the whole bar and having uses in tens of situations. Have you even tried Tremor out?
The only downside to Tremor's ambush attacks is that it won't come out if your character is in the air. Also, with someone like Omni man, it won't work if he's in viltrum stance
Tremor is a lot of fun lol, especially when your main benefits from him more than usual, I wonder if Rewind's gonna go with Tremor now instead of Darrius.
I'm also not one to make concrete claims but it does LOOK like the frame data thing with the launcher for scorpion and Sub zero is a bug, makes no sense why it would be different for certain characters. Even if it is a bug it would be nice for them to keep that because they need some help lol
I just don’t understand why they make the kameos feel so lopsided. I’m loving how tremor is working, but Jesus Christ, the difference between a tremor to a goro/Sonya is like the difference between an iPhone 15 and steel can with a string.
I really hope new cameos having variations doesn't become the norm. I can already see it becoming a nightmare to deal with the many options they can have.
I’m just not a big fan of his cooldown lengths. So many moves that are only available a handful of times per set. Best ability is availability. See: Low Hat. Honestly if most Kameos had moves available as soon as low hat, we would probably see more variety
To clarify - I don’t mean ALL moves should be low hat level cooldown. Would all depend on the move itself. But the insane cooldowns for some moves (all of Tremor’s ambushes, Cyrax horizontal chopper, Darius ambush, etc) need a 25% reduction at least IMO.
Still not useful with sub, he has no string that ends with a low hit to open up opponents. As long as they are blocking it wont make a diff. Sareena is still the best for sub besides broken lao

Sereena is punishable if blocked, Raiden can even get a full combo off of you if he blocks Sereena up close. Tremor makes sub zero for an example safe regardless if they block
@@jessestewart3835 tremor works better with sub zero specifically because you can't keep his b2 safe unless you special cancel it. Special canceling his b2 with sereena can still be punished while doing it with tremor can't

Risky kameo imo- need to speed up the refill time for his Kameo We should be able to change elements (metal,crystal,aftershock) by pressing R1 any time in match- In online its a lot to wake up, cycle thru, then get a summon like crystalline armor..also crystal armor should be near instant
changing variation costs nothing and is an ambush, it functions as you have described. Also crystalline armor is fine as it can be applied instantly, at the cost of full kameo bar.

Kameo moves which don't make your main character stuck in place doing their pose. This means Ambush moves can be done at any time.
