As far as I am concerned, despite all the horrors of Partition, the creation of Pakistan was a blessing. If India could not handle 18% of indian muslims, who were creating riots all the time, how would India cope with 35% of the muslim population ( if it was united India, and partition did not take place, that is the muslim population) in 2021? It would have been worse than Syria or Yemen or Lebanon.

Cheema sir , I am studying Pakistan since my 6th std. ( 1968 ). I found pak have not choosed any such direction to grow and develope as a nation. As independent country since day one pak leaders and religious leaders started training centers of terrorism and spreading a heavenly dream of concoring the world and bringing shariya rules. In Hindus there are about 700 religious sects and in Islam 72 only. But political leaders instead controlling them they used for their power play. India kept kept away the religions from political activities. After 1977 indiraji started playing divide rule practice. Hindus are mentally democrats, it laid a strong foundation of democracy. Pakistan is still searching what to do where to go. It's failure of real intellectuals. 💔

It is part of an interesting history - in 1946 when a cabinet mission from Britain came to India to negotiate a transfer of power from the British Raj to the Indian political leadership, with the aim of giving India a united independence. This was the very first offer ever made and from Britain of the idea of a united India. (Although before 1947 the fact is India was already divided into several independent princely states - each state already running its own currency, bank, army and independent system of government.) On behalf of Gandhiji, Nehruji, who was present at the Cabinet Mission Meetings, rejected with such vehement objections such an important offer made by the British to the Indian leadership of an independent United India. Which Mr. Jinnah had already accepted on the condition of ensuring the rights of minorities - that is, under these conditions the rights of minorities must be ensured in both the Muslim-majority state and the Hindu-majority state in United India, whether it be a Hindu minority or The Muslim minority - because Nehru wanted to eat the whole pie, rejected such an important offer of the Cabinet Mission with frivolous excuses - today the question is, What was Nehruji's ulterior motive behind the move and why did Nehruji and Comrade reject such an important proposal and who did they want to force and what was their motive behind the scene ?

1- Who was the real denier of the idea of a truly democratic United India?
2- Nehru ruled India like a socialist communist dictator for 17 years.
3. The fact that by 1947 India was already divided into several independent states was not a truly "United India" - India was not a single state before 1947.
4. Now Nehru's socialist or left-wing India - is really in the hands of the capitalist, not the socialist, and Nehru's India, now sitting on the lap of the capitalist and imperialist United States and Britain, and ready to fight against the interests of socialist communist Russia and China.

Dr Isthiaq speaks history in the correct perspective. This is the reason for which he is popular in India. Pakistan became a reality, but it's leaders miserably failed the people. The Shias & Ahemdias are not considered Muslims in today's Pakistan & other religious minorities are gradually either being converted or killed or to run a way from the country. Coupled to this is the atrocities committed on people in other regions.

Cheema sir , I am studying Pakistan since my 6th std. ( 1968 ). I found pak have not choosed any such direction to grow and develope as a nation. As independent country since day one pak leaders and religious leaders started training centers of terrorism and spreading a heavenly dream of concoring the world and bringing shariya rules. In Hindus there are about 700 religious sects and in Islam 72 only. But political leaders instead controlling them they used for their power play. India kept kept away the religions from political activities. After 1977 indiraji started playing divide rule practice. Hindus are mentally democrats, it laid a strong foundation of democracy. Pakistan is still searching what to do where to go. It's failure of real intellectuals. 💔

The occurrence to the effect of tending towards creation of homogeneous society with the sole criteria of Islam as the state religion is happening in almost all Muslim countries in general and Pakistan in specific.
