as an Indonesian following Steve Hartman since my time in the US years ago, I'm so glad that now it reached Indonesian kids, especially through this Kindness 101 lessons!! Thank you Steve and CBS for this awesome platform. Gratitude from approximately 9,291 miles away!!
That teacher was just an inspiration. When the students said they respect the teacher too much and they should lecture a day with a blindfold hits home.
Steve Hartman (and family) a national treasure! Mr. Hartman's work of bringing us stories of joy, integrity, human kindness, and soul-full empathy are such a beautiful gift for all of us! I've sent the link to this series to everyone I know (please do that too!) and I hope we will all watch and share these messages. THANK YOU Steve (and family!)...I watch CBS exclusively because of Steve Hartman. Let's all move one step closer to the mountain every single day. Kindness...honesty...gratitude!
I love your program and your kid’s adorable I can see how much of a great time you are having working from home. God bless you all and protect you great program. !
"'Cause if your not honest, what are you?" Hit the nail right on the head there!!! 👏 Honesty creates integrity and comes from love. Be honest. God bless you all! ❤
I’ve commented before about how I love your stories on the Friday night news! I love your daughter’s roll but was impressed with your son during this lesson. He was always quiet and in the background. Kids makes our life...wish I had more than one!
Oh my goodness, let me first say that these classes are not just for the children. I'm 63 and when you first started theses classes I was glad that you, Milra, and your son Emmitt are giving us something different then the virus stories. I love you Co-Host Miral ( I hope I'm spelling her name right) the way she has the best answers and information. I know that you are proud of her and your son. This bring me joy. I don't have Facebook so I watch it on TH-cam the next day. I would love to meet Miral someday and give her a big hug. She has taught me how important it is to listen. Oh, she dresses very well for a Co-Teacher! You son has all the awesome answers and faces too. I love this and all you do Mr. Hartman. I can't wait until you get back "On The Road Again". Thanks Cheryl Holmes From Raeford North Carolina
This is the first program that I have seen with Steve and his adorable children. I have watched "On The Road" many times and recently discovered that through DNA testing he has found new relatives, as I have also, I was always the oldest of two girls, I now have 8 new siblings!!! Janice Falcone
Steve: You and your kids are doing great! I am a prof at the Albers School of Business & Economics, Seattle University. For the last couple years I have showed one of your stories as I close out every class to remind students that our role in life, and business, is to make a difference. The students LOVE your stories. I love what you are doing with your kids for other kids. Nice work! Joe Barnes.
Two weeks ago I hit a car on a parking lot, I waited for the owner to come back from the Grocery Store, but he didn't ... so I left a note with my phone number. Felt good ... I told a friend about, he thought I was crazy. A year ago someone hit my car and didn't left a note and I remember how I felt then, I didn't want that owner feel the same way. So I guess it is true: Don't do to others, what you don't want others do to you.
The cowboy 🤠 oh my heart!! I couldn’t be any happier with that young man who saved the day for that lady who’s bike was likely her only transportation. God bless him! ❤
This program is so wonderful! Thank you for breaking through a cruel internet to share these important messages. My heart warms over every time I watch you three deliver these lessons!
Haha, I thought the same thing, even if it was an undesirable conclusion! [They are both so cute and smart! I do think the odds of honesty are much better in this family! They're getting all the right lessons.]
Honesty is Always the Best Policy. I told a Lie once and My Father taught Me a Valuable Lesson and I Never done it Again. When I did, it sure wasn't that kind of a Lie. I never will Forget It.🤔
I didn't like what Charlotte said about "white lies". When I ask someone about my cooking, I expect an honest answer. Otherwise I wouldn't know the recipe needed fixed to taste better. I love Roberts' story!!!
This is what I did. I was at the register in a big chain store and there were no cashiers to take my money for a simple can of beans. . So I angrily took the can of beans and left. When I cooled off, I started thinking how can I make this right? This is what I did: I went back to the store, about a week later, bought a can of beans, paid for it and after I paid, I put the can of beans back on the shelf. Honesty prevailed!
It was a backslash... The. You turned it and it was a front slash. The way to remember is whatever the direction of the top of the slash is is the indicator of the direction.
A lie is like a knife. It is OK to use it to butter your bread but it is not OK to use it to hurt somebody. :) I got that from a pretty good documentary called (Dis)honesty: The Truth About Lies
Another class truely enjoyed. Can anyone tell me about the Cantaloupe, please? I re-watched Kindness 101 about Gratidude closely (I think) but couldn´t find a clue as to why they had this fruit on their desk today.
Okay, this might just sound like it’s unrelated but since I’m gluten intolerant I thought I might comment on the first segment. Yes, unfortunately not all gluten free stuff taste good. Most times is made by people who are not gluten free, and they just think eliminating gluten will make it all right... On the other hand, it tends to be very expensive and not offer a wide variety. When you have the choice of a gluten free something or nothing at all, you tend to settle for crappy gluten free Girl Scout cookies! I’d use the as pie crust or something. Sorry for the rant. After all, I’m just being honest... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 🤣 🤣 🤣
" a 'white lie' like that, is ok..." NO its not! Lying is LYING and there is no color that will make it okay! Also remember: Its not always WHAT you say, it's HOW you say it. ❤
Mr. Hartman for President. Steve, your son seems jealous of your daughter ("She has a 1 n 4 chance of lying during this 15 mins!) DIRECT ATTACK!! Prolly jealous of her relationship w/ you. yall seem very close. She's a brilliant communication btw. My question is: What's the best way to deal with that jealousy so that we may in hopes correct that behavior? Thanks in advance!
Skip. Steve Hartman used to be great, but now his videos feature his family sometimes. A reporter isn't supposed to be the subject of a story. End of story.
It appears that you're a person who is so perfect that you don't need to learn anything new. I'm honored to even be reading your post. It's not often that we get to meet such a stellar individual. Please allow me, a humble imperfect human, to wish you a good rest of the day.
SO WHAT ?WAS ONE Box $1.00 .That means her Daddy owes $23thousand dollars ...🌭🌭🌭🌭🌭🌭🌭🌭🌭🌭🌭🌭🍟🍟🍟🍟🍟🍟🍟🍟🍟🍟🍟🍟🍟🍟🍟🍟🍟🍟🍟🍟🍟🍟🍔🍔🍔🍔🍔🍔🍔🍔🍔🍔🍔🍔AND HER DAD SHOULD TAKE HER AND HER FRIENDS FOR BURGERS
Mr. Hartman, I can't help but point out that the word "emet" in Hebrew means truth. Your son should feel proud of his name!

Steve Hartman has Mr. Rogers qualities.
His daughter has his eyes. Very cute how they're helping.
It's called EMPOWERING, and Steve should do a class on that.
Steve Hartman, this series is precious and much appreciated. Onward and upward, friends!!
Thank you, thank you, a million times Thank you! We need these lessons now more than ever, and not just for kids.♥️

Emmett has excellent math skills. Good for him, getting the 1 in 4 possibility of his sister being dishonest.

I never will Forget It.🤔
Telling the Truth cost Nothing. When You Like it will Cost You Everything.😥
