i hate that i have to say this but you need to listen to it a few more times, it took me 2 listens to like it and others 3+, its honestly that we go into the song with expectations but at each measure kanye adds a new sound or vocal, now im not gonna sit here and tell u its the best song of 2018 cuz its not, but definitely not trash. just open up your mind a little bit, kinda what I have to do when listening to mumble rap lol

i honestly didnt love ghost town but i really dont see how you could hate it that much. its such a creative track with a really strong changing vibe, almost psychedelic. sometimes a track isnt for you but you can still see and appreciate it as great art.

I mean, knowing what hes been through ever since his "breakthrough" I kinda expected this haha, same with Kids See Ghosts. Even TLOP didn't have many bangers and his life got even more "shaky" after that project

The first time I listened to the album I didn't know what to think, but after a few more listens I think I understand the album now. It's not radio-friendly, but it seems like a raw, and honest album and I respect that.

redliquorice when you look at tbis album, you cannot see it as a direct message for mental illness, but rather an expression from Kanye on his own demons and struggles. If it really was just about mental health and not about the man himself, we wouldnt have tracks like Wouldn't Leave or Violent Crimes. It's not a message, rather it's an insight into the dark moods and attitudes of Kanye

This album is a classic production masterpiece. The sounds & sampling are on par with some of his previous work. G.O.O.D music has a good line up this year!

On the first track I think he is talking about killing his ego. In the 2nd track he talks in 3rd person. Also the last track is called Violent Crimes. Reffering to the death of his ego (the violent crime). The album starts with thinking of killing his ego and ends with its death. Plus he has tweeted about killing his ego on twitter.
It is not definite, I could be mistaken but there are contextual clues that supports it. It fits with the bipolar theme. It starts dark, low and reckless and transitions into a more hopeful, reflective and positive place. It can be heard in the production as well.
It really sucks that there was a solid meaning behind the last songs of the album and they just saw past that.....how can you not like ghost town tho!?
