Although considered a slightly ageing model in the hatchback segment, the Peugeot 308 still has a lot to offer in the style and functionality department.
The Peugeot 308 may not have the same refreshed appeal of the new Renault Clio, but with a curvy exterior the 308 still offers a unique stance on the road.
When it comes to being a hatchback the 308 also offers plenty of practicality with a flexible interior design.
We take the Peugeot 308 out on the road and put it to the test in our latest review. - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ
This is a terrible review of a Great car. I've got the 2013 308 HDI Diesel model and it runs very well and responds effortlessly when you accelerate ! Who on earth cares about the size of cup holders lol ! Great family car and mileage is excellent too. Penny for penny, this IS a must and my family love it. I would highly recommend it. Forget this negative review and test drive it for yourself. Peugeot make the Best Diesel engines around and it only costs £20 a year to tax !
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Would you recommend me this exact Peugeot model compare to a 2010-2011 Seat Ibiza or Leon with 1.4L taking care reliability? Is gonna be for a first car with short rides
Exactly! This still stands 4 years on. If you get a 2.0 HDi with the 6sp manual, you are literally buying the best drivetrain in its class for a much lower price than the competition.
Good review but the music is far too loud.
Love the practicality of this car. Rides very well. Was fortunate to have the sunroof. No regrets after owning car for about 8 years. Regular maintenance recommended.
Great car. VERY reliable and easy to drive. 👍👍👍👍👍
I just bought a 2012 1.6 diesel, for £1400. My first PUG, and I’m very impressed considering it’s a decade old. Not bad for a 62 plate!
Hi, Would you recommend me this exact Peugeot model compare to a 2010-2011 Seat Ibiza or Leon with 1.4L taking care reliability? Is gonna be for a first car with short rides
@@mangh815 It depends how much you would pay for the car! I will have spent to have sone parts replaced due to wear. Overall I’m happy with the car. It’s a comfortable ride and good on fuel
@@wintersun398 I would pay between £2k-£2.5k with 80k miles on the clock.
Are you using it for short or long rides?
love this car
Very very great car
Since I own a 308 I can safely say you can fit 2 cans of coke in the front cup holders no problems at all.. They aren't that deep which is the only problem I have with them, but they still keep the drinks up right.
Thanks for the feedback :)
cthe size of a cup holder is important for me and you're right , too small :)
I think 3.5 is a little harsh. I've got 307 xse and it has been quite reliable if you take care of it properly. Planning to upgrade to the 308 2013 sportium. I wish peugeot would made the sportium to have a bit more hp and it would have been a perfect car for me...
No mention of how economical the diesel e hdi is, also very low tax.
I love my 308 which was a wildcard for me over a focus. Leg room in the back isn't the best with my seat all the way back but my two small children are nice and safe back there so I don't need excess space. I do wonder how much the glass roof is adding to reducing fuel economy with its weight and whether it is worth it. It is a nice novelty once again for the kids however and keeping them happier for longer is more important than a couple quid in petrol on a longer journey. The cup holders are a renowned let down but for their depth, not width. They do accommodate two coke cans, just don't expect them to remain upright for long. I don't imagine his red bull story is true because they are not suitable unless on a very straight road!
The comment about the cup holders being too small is absolute nonsense. I've got the estate version of this car and there is ample room for a supersized Starbucks cup.
my 2013 allure last of that shape doesnt have that sunroof sadly
What do you think of our other reviews? It's good to hear feedback either way
To those who buy this car, how was it so far?
I think Peugeot need to revamp it a little. This model is a good foundations to build on though.
Damn... I need a hatchback that's somethin similar to Audi A3. Peugeot and Auris and Mazda3 just look too cramped up in the back :/ I guess focus/astra/citroen c4 or the actual A3 is the only options i got. Even tho i also need a quite decent boot too not only legroom in the back. Any suggestions? I really want Auris tho but i'm quite sure the trunk is also very tiny in Auris..
You missed the sunglasses holder beside your head

It certainly deserves more than those 3.5 stars.
Pretty useless review to be honest.
I must say you have an excellent camera crew though.

I Phone and i pod or you lot sponsoredby apple?
nice
Moronic editing. Instead of showing the first seat down in the car, so I can see (!) it's shown for 2 seconds and then I'm looking at the guy walking around the car opening and closing doors.
When I watch a car review, I don't think I value a 2 minute rant about cup holders with a completely useless story to back it up. Actual valuable info in this video is maybe 2 mins tops. Please focus on more important aspects of the car!
Offer no good engines they can come with 150 to a 200 bhp
SUPER AUTO
Stay away from 1.6 turbo version
I know this is 10 years old but very off putting review with that annoying background music
haha! no, sadly not
Bi
So this review is useless because they gave this car only 3.5 stars? I currently drive this car (lease car) and I can tell you, the 3.5 stars was a generous score. I'd describe this car in one word: lackluster.
