    the fact that people keep asking about your girls, what you will/wont show, and saying that they miss them just shows it was the right move to keep them offline! people were developing parasocial relationships w them and it’s so admirable that you want to give them a private life! ❤

    I really appreciate you not showing your kids anymore and respecting their privacy, influencers nowadays really don’t understand how horribly dangerous sharing so much of your kids is, so I’m very happy that more and more people now think like this 🙏🏼

    I did pelvic floor therapy during and after pregnancy, it helps you to make your delivery smoother and it helps you recover your floor faster after pregnancy.
    It helps to make your delivery less stressful and teaches your body how to relax the pelvic floor to potentially lessen tearing and make delivery go smoother

    So recommend a pelvic floor specialist!!!! My mom had four kids, and just recently got into a pelvic floor doc to treat some back pain she's had most of her life. The exercises and things she learned from this professional seriously changed her life. After one visit she called me, told me I have to see one when I'm thinking of kids (soon, haha). And said how crazy it is these people weren't around 30 years ago when she was having us. Definitely check one out!!

    I highly highly recommend pelvic floor therapy. My PFT recommended me doing 2 session during pregnancy and 2 sessions after birth, then as needed. Especially after having a baby, it’s so important to make sure you have a good strong connection with your pelvic floor. It helps preventing prolapse after pregnancy, peeing yourself 😅, and a whole bunch of postpartum benefits!! It also helps with sciatic nerve and SI joint pain, like it’s allll connected, and prior to PFT, I had zero clue. So, if you can, I would say DO IT. It’s worth the money.

    Pelvic floor therapy is literally LIFECHANGING!! I’m one year postpartum and still have crazy tightness in my pelvic floor muscles and they’ve been able to help with all of it! I would recommend Reborn Pelvic Health and Wellness. They have a location in Lehi and in West Jordan.
    Basically what pelvic floor therapy is an evaluation of the whole body and they can help work on different muscles to help with pain, leaking, etc. and it’s so crazy how much they can change your body for the better. You get a whole hour 1-on-1 with the therapist and they work with you based on your needs and priorities.

    Hey Aspyn, I have a similar issue with my S1 joint/vertebrae and Ive found that electric stimulation and massage therapy both help a ton! I dont know if electric stimulation could affect your pregnancy though so its definitely something to talk to your doctors about, but if it is okay to try you can get at-home electric stimulation machines online or at Walgreens. Also joints can be affected and made worse by the cold so using heat therapy is also very beneficial!

    YES YES YES to pelvic floor therapy. Especially now that this will be your third time giving birth. Idk if you had issues with feeling like you have to pee suddenly when you're heavily pregnant or even shortly after birth, but it makes the third trimester easier for that stuff. Plus if you have an emergency C-section for any reason, it can really help to have those muscles in a better place for healing.

    Pelvic floor therapy is great during pregnancy and postpartum. A lot of women do it before birth to help keep their body in optimum condition and it typically makes recovery easier. Similar to going to PT pre-op. Definitely do research but seeing a pelvic floor/women's specialist PT can really make a difference compared to seeing a general outpatient PT as they have been trained more in pregnancy pain, especially if you want to find a more permanent solution for the SI joint pain.

    I’ve done pelvic floor therapy twice and not due to pregnancies as I have other issues. I had two different therapists and the experiences were really different and definitely had a preference! • @buttercup3576

      What set them apart for you? What would you recommend looking out for in terms of plan/technique?

    • @Sarabug18
      @Sarabug18 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@buttercup3576 So I had one therapist that was really hands on and more into massage therapy as weird as that sounds. She would work my entire body instead of just trying to fix one problem since all the muscles/tissues are connected basically in the back/hip area. I saw her for a year and I felt like I saw huge amounts of progress with her because she also worked mentally with me too. I’m happy to talk over DM if you want real specifics! The other therapist I saw spent two or three weeks working physical techniques on me, but soon tired to strength workouts and things like that and while I definitely agree it’s something f that we needed to incorporate. I felt a lot of the weight was put into that and I came away not feeling as well once our time was done. I would honestly just ask questions about their typical plan, what they like to focus on, how they see progress, and make sure it aligns with what you are trying to fix!

    Have you tried an SI belt?? It’s what helped me the most with my SI joint pain during my pregnancies!!!

    I feel like typically people tend to not remember pain as intensely as it was, so if you remember your pregnancy being super painful, it probably was awful.

    Get an IUD. They can often do it right after birth while you’re still dilated. Copper one isn’t chemical based. Let’s you both choose when or if want a child without the crazy reactions that the chemical ones give you. Finnish bestie has had hers for 6+ years.

      Oh! And the 90 minute hand and stone…go to the massage locations. Go to several. Tell them specifically that you’re looking for pregnant massages and the specific pain areas. You’ll find someone who can get to the nerves that are flaring. Give the clearance for glutes spot. But like obviously have them explain the slots of that area so you’re comfy. They’re not creepy. You can have Parker there too if you’re not used to massages. :)
