@@Liviavan I think what people mean by saying "let him rest in peace" is intended as a way of saying don't tarnish his memory with disrespect or question his integrity by suggesting he in any way faked his death. Implying he faked his death would come off as his choosing to deceive his countless fans and allow them as well as his loved ones and those closest to him be in pain through grief and mourning which by all accounts, as he loved all of them, he would never willingly do. That's how I interpret it.

Tell me why Elvis looked like he was in his 20s and thin . He weighed 350lbs when he supposedly died. His own cousin said that was not in the casket. You said there was sweat on his face. And his sideburn was sticking up like it had been glued. His hair was too short at the top in there was a cooling device in the casket. Because it was a wax body of Elvis. The air conditioning kept the wax body from melting in the hot day in Memphis.

Elvis is alive in my heart forever. Whether in the flesh or not, hmmmm anything is possible. I went to a few of his concerts when I was a young boy with my mom and grandmother. I grew up listening to Elvis pretty much every day. To this day I still love Elvis and his music and always will.

I was friends with Gail Brewer-Giorgio at the time of this filming. I have known Elvis myself for the past 31 years. We speak frequently and I write to him every week. He is 88 now and is still the sweet man we have always loved.

I remember watching this special when it first aired; at first, Bill Bixby half-way believed that Elvis might still be around, but by the time the 2nd Elvis files special, Bill Bixby said at the end of the program, " After much debate & looking at All the information we now have, I believe that Elvis is No longer with us". You are right. Even though Elvis was stationed in Germany when he was in the Army Elvis never visited any places in Germany. He says it in his interview when he was home. That he never at the food in Germany and only ate at the mess hall and had home cooking. Elvis' wealth made it possible for Elvis to have a home to go to when he was stationed in Germany. And the only place Elvis visited was Paris and who knows how long he was on leave for. And from the photos it looks like Elvis only hung out in one place while he was in Paris.

Watching documentaries about elvis and i think him dying was a release for him. The huge pressure he was under to keep earning because he paid a living for so many and his evil manager just ran him into the ground .but he knew he could not cope , his body was in awful health. But even more so was his mental health was rock bottom, The spilt up of his marriage and now turning 42 he was petrified of growing old and ending up broke, unloved, and end up on his own. Furthermore, the REFLECTION of the iron fence posts in the glass DO NOT continue DOWN THROUGH or OVER the figure as THEY WOULD and SHOULD IF the reflection of the posts (which are actually situated BEHIND the camera) were being REFLECTED ONTO the glass window of the door BEHIND WHICH the figure is sitting!! This INcongruity is nonsensically IMpossible for someone seated in THAT position, BUT NOT for a figure which ITSELF is a mere REFLECTION of an OUTSIDE body sitting IN FRONT OF the iron fence posts. However even THIS begs the question of WHERE is the REFLECTION of the PHOTOGRAPHER directly facing the glass door?? This leads to my suspicion that the original DISTANT photograph of the house showing NOTHING distinctly in the door window is authentic BUT the CLOSE-UP picture with such detailed color is a PHOTO-FORGERY of an Elvis look-alike SUPERIMPOSED on the lower glass window. And the question of WHY would Elvis RISK EXPOSURE by sitting in the glass window of a door doesn't make sense when he COULD have sat BEHIND the wide blinds in the LARGE window and peeked through them to see MORE of the crowd. Elvis's hairdresser Larry Geller once said in a interview on the day Elvis died when he went to do Elvis's Hair while Elvis was laying in the coffin, (Over the years the big story Elvis might be alive, oh how I wish that was true, I work on his body thousands and thousands of times that was Elvis Presley that was it no doubt about it). The interview is on the documentary Elvis Last 24 hours, I recommend it to everybody to watch it.

Bill Bixby did this special for two reasons: one, he halfway believed that Elvis " might" still be alive & was pretty much conned into believing it could be possible, & two, Bill had been diagnosed as having cancer, just a few days before this was filmed, & he needed the money . But before he passed away, Bill Bixby reportedly told friends that he regretted doing these 2 specials, & that he truly believed that " From Everything i now know & all the evidence there is, I'm positive that Elvis is No longer with us".

Today is the 30th anniversary of this television special, it was broadcast on August 4, 1991 by the North American television station KTLA5, Bill Bixby aka David Banner from The Incredible Hulk series, had already been diagnosed with Cancer at the time that he narrated this show, over two years after Bixby filmed this TV special, he died of Cancer on November 21, 1993.

I remember watching this special when it first aired; at first, Bill Bixby half-way believed that Elvis might still be around, but by the time the 2nd Elvis files special, Bill Bixby said at the end of the program, " After much debate & looking at All the information we now have, I believe that Elvis is No longer with us". Bill later said that he regretted doing these shows, & I believe he did. RIP Bill!

I also felt the family may have asked him to say that. Plus the Fox news investigation with more proofs aired after Bixbys shows. That investigation was several years long. And they aired information regularly for those years with more info including DNA evidence that said the dead body ( autopsy ) DNA did not match EPs DNA from a prior surgical procedure while he was alive before Aug of 77.

You are right. Even though Elvis was stationed in Germany when he was in the Army Elvis never visited any places in Germany. He says it in his interview when he was home. That he never at the food in Germany and only ate at the mess hall and had home cooking.
Elvis' wealth made it possible for Elvis to have a home to go to when he was stationed in Germany.
And the only place Elvis visited was Paris and who knows how long he was on leave for. And from the photos it looks like Elvis only hung out in one place while he was in Paris.

Watching documentaries about elvis and i think him dying was a release for him. The huge pressure he was under to keep earning because he paid a living for so many and his evil manager just ran him into the ground .but he knew he could not cope , his body was in awful health. But even more so was his mental health was rock bottom, The spilt up of his marriage and now turning 42 he was petrified of growing old and ending up broke, unloved, and end up on his own. His name was not misspelled on his gravestone... It was missing an a on his Birth Certificate... It happens... People misspelled my maiden name and my married name all the time even on my grandaughter's birthcertificate and my grandmother's grave... They put her middle name first...
A friend of mines first name was misspelled on her birth certificate 62 years ago.
Her real first name is Susan. Her birth certificate says Suzan. To this day, she still has problems with it. Most recently, as she tried to get a passport.
But his parents have stated on record (I believe) that they changed his birth certificate to Aron because it was originally misspelled with 2 A’s.

If Elvis Presley was alive now in 2023 I don't think he would have missed Lisa-Marie's funeral at all, he would definitely risk coming out of hiding for it, as he loved her from the very bottom depths of his heart. Also being very religious Elvis would have considered it a sin to commit suicide as only God can give or take away a life.
So yes I do think Elvis Presley has very sadly passed on and that Lisa-Marie is now safe in the loving arms of her father and her son.

Most expolited man that ever lived. One major reason Elvis got depressed was because Parker had the nerve to remix his music after hours of recording to get thing just the way Elvis wanted. In films Elvis had no control either. After death, Pricilla had the nerve to remix his music for shear profit. Even "garbage recordings" that Elvis threw out were remixed & released! WTH? The show should have constantly focused in on the closeup of the image instead of disrupting the flow to make the abrupt transition from an indistinct "blob" shadow in the bottom half of the door's glass window to a distinct human form. Furthermore, the REFLECTION of the iron fence posts in the glass DO NOT continue DOWN THROUGH or OVER the figure as THEY WOULD and SHOULD IF the reflection of the posts (which are actually situated BEHIND the camera) were being REFLECTED ONTO the glass window of the door BEHIND WHICH the figure is sitting!! This INcongruity is nonsensically IMpossible for someone seated in THAT position, BUT NOT for a figure which ITSELF is a mere REFLECTION of an OUTSIDE body sitting IN FRONT OF the iron fence posts. However even THIS begs the question of WHERE is the REFLECTION of the PHOTOGRAPHER directly facing the glass door?? This leads to my suspicion that the original DISTANT photograph of the house showing NOTHING distinctly in the door window is authentic BUT the CLOSE-UP picture with such detailed color is a PHOTO-FORGERY of an Elvis look-alike SUPERIMPOSED on the lower glass window. And the question of WHY would Elvis RISK EXPOSURE by sitting in the glass window of a door doesn't make sense when he COULD have sat BEHIND the wide blinds in the LARGE window and peeked through them to see MORE of the crowd. DOUBTFUL as "evidence".
