Wow, I have such a new found respect for Elizabeth Taylor. What an amazing and charitable person. I thought it was very sentimental and selfless that she donated a portion of the proceeds from the million dollar diamond to the charity on the Island she was married after she was divorced. Not to mention, her style was divine.
I once read something written by Richard Burton, in which he said that, to him, Elizabeth Taylor was the most beautiful woman in the world, possibly the most beautiful woman who had ever lived (she played Cleopatra in the movie). He said that he felt the best way to pay homage to her beauty was by buying her extravagant jewels.
Her collection was exquisite, even more so because she wore all the pieces. 💖
