FINALLY... Scott Hall in actual in-ring action again! Damned WCW, with their bait and switches... that's a large part of why I started tuning in to WWF more. Take it easy, Ryan... you've earned it.
Hall wrestled countless times during 1998. I wouldn't have tuned into WWF if you paid me to do it, was absolute garbage. Still is. Watched it for a bit during the woeful Invasion in 2001 until around 03. Bischoff as Raw GM kept me around a bit. But after that it was straight to TNA and now AEW.
@deandredukes95, yeah, i know. Hogan made it that way. He found ways to keep the spotlight on him, & oddly keep Goldberg buried in the upper mid card, even though he was world champ!!!
He should have had at least 1 match with Jericho who said he didn't mind losing to him in a squash match. Jericho could have made Goldberg look like a dominant champ while also putting on a great match.
Yeah this has been a wild revelation. As a kid I thought the Shawn/HHH DX was overrated and it was at its peak with the Dx Army. Turns out it was the reverse, I didn't realize how good Shawn, Hunter and Chyna were together and how flat the DX Army was for a lot of its run.

Another great episode of Reliving the war Raw and Nitro from November 23rd 1998 were awesome Shawn Michaels hitting X-Pac with a chairshot was crazy The corporation doing the crotch chop with Shawn michaels was hilarious awesome video.
Scott Hall vs Alex Wright should have won it for WCW. the legendary wrestler from germany let Hall do all his famous moves and it looked great. one of the best Scott Hall match in WCW.
These days, whenever Kidman is brought up, it's usually to comment about how scuffed his Shooting Star Press (it was pretty wonky), his weird WWE theme (I still like it) or that time he feuded with Hogan in the dying days of WCW. This series has really put a spotlight on how good he was in the WCW, he's constantly putting on great matches. I understand now why he got that feud with Hogan, I can imagine back in the day that he was one of the young guys that the fans wanted to be pushed into the main event after they got sick of seeing the same guys on top. It's sucks that is was done so poorly.

Austin vs rock, rock & sock connection, hhh becomes world champ, the ministry, Hardy’s vs edge/Christian ladder match, rock becoming babyface, mankind winning the world title, stone cold getting ran over… there’s more that I have to remember & im looking forward to it
If you want proof how little the Light Heavyweight title mattered to the WWF? Duane Gill/Gillberg ends up holding the title for almost a year and half and had like two matches in 99 and 2000.
I think next week( or maybe the week after) when austin says "get up big bastard" and whacks the undertaker is one of my all time favorite moments of this era
I remember watching this and telling my father that not only did Duane Gill win a match, but he won a championship. He couldn't believe it. He had said for years that he wanted to see Duane Gill win a match because of the perpetual jobber status he held.

Back when lex luger beat Hollywood for the strap on nitro he completely dissed milenko as they celebrated in the ring by not shaking his hand. A blink & you'll miss it moment but says volumes. One can't help but wonder what wild shenanigans milenko got up to

Is this the Nitro where Goldberg pulls off that PERFECT jackhammer on the Giant? Either this one or the next I'm pretty sure. It was the most perfectly executed jackhammer ever against the biggest guy there was. Credit to Giant too as he plays a big part in it coming off so well. Amazing feat of strength and control.

I realized after summer 98 DX didn’t really do that much to keep the momentum going. Didn’t help that Trips got injured too

The only reason I don’t believe Bret is that Bret is the first one to go to the back and could easily had confronted Dean right there and we know Bret isn’t afraid of confrontation. Maybe Dean truly didn’t know and since his night was over he just wanted to get to his hotel or whatever
