We have an echo trimmer SRM225/PAS225 that will start and then stall. Lets take a look at the spark arrestor as well as replacing the carb, and fuel lines with the HIPA maintenance kit to get it running like new again.

Sounds great and thanks for the shout out to HIPA.
There are a lot of aftermarket parts available and it’s good to know which ones to look for.
Amazing instructions! Worked exactly as in the video and my trimmer is good to go again! Thank you!👊
You are most welcome! It’s great to hear it got you back in the weeds. 👍
Hips seems to be the bomb. Thanks for sharing the info
I like Echo have had one for over 20 years ! A bunch of people in the community swear by Hipa I would give them a try 👍
I really like echo. Most all of my personal two stroke equipment is from them.
Good job Alex. I always have great luck with the Hipa kits. I hope all is well 🔧👍
Thank you so much. I hope you are doing well. Life has been very busy but yes things are good this way!!
I try to find there parts on eBay and Amazon 😊
Nice work brother 😎
It’s Saturday afternoon and delivery time 😊😊😊
Good luck and be safe 😊
Keep them running
Thank you. I’ve got some riding mower content coming soon. I’ve been trying to catch up on things and also get some maintenance vids in as well.
Awesome video bud. I think for the money and the frustration a new carb is the way to go.
Great vid as always alex!
Did the exact same job last week to an Echo trimmer. I DID NOT use a HIPA kit. The new rubber grommet and lines would not fit the tank hole, lubed it, dish soaped it, WD-40 it and no luck. I finally took the new lines out and put them in the old grommet and it was a success. Also, the new fuel lines did not want to fit on the new carb, had to heat and stretch them to go on. The 20 minute job took me about 3 hours!! I think I will use HIPA next time. Good video Alec.
Thank you for the video
It's definitely got a fuel delivery issue glad hipa sent you a new carburetor Alex because the OEM one is probably not cheap
Hipa is just as good as oem

THANK YOU FOR THE VIDEO
Nice to see Hipa helping out on this project Alex. You doing a video using their products really gives them some good advertising and saves you some time as well! 👍🎥🇺🇸
👍👍👍👍👍
I need to contact hipa about parts since I’m buy from several companies 😊
Hey Alex, hope all is well? Question? I'm sure you've noticed that Echos have that nuisance oil spooge all over the machine? With your experience do you still have that issue when you install a aftermarket carb? I always wipe my trimmer down when I'm done and clean all the oil off anyway but I'm just curious if a different carb stops that? In my opinion, Echos are just awesome units. Great job as always Alex
Did you get rid?
Of that white craftsman ???riding lawnmower
