I was in Wales for holidays during three weeks in 2002. As a spaniard, I must say it was weird for me that most of the days were cloudy or raining in august but I fell in love with those cliffs, infinite green fields, castles, churches and towns. Wales is a very beautiful country and I've never met people so kind and hospitable like welsh. It's a place where I promised myself to come back before I die.
Wales has always been my dream country ,hope one day I will set a foot on it. from Kenya 🇰🇪, I love you Wales and I got a dream of you and for you, may God bless the skies, land ,water and wales space.

I went to Aberystwyth University in the 90's. I returned here 7 years later. Whilst I enjoy going off to visit other Countries. There is something so magical about Wales. For such a small Country, it has so much in it. The Bench in the ruins of Aberystwyth Castle, I have sat on it so many times, overlooking South Beach, the Sea Wall, and the Cliffs next to Tan Y Bwlch. Admiring the Architecture in Tenby and Aberaeron. Cardiff is a fascinating Capital. The Gower Peninsula. The view overlooking Worm Head. The impressive Castle at Laugharne in Camarthenshire. Narbeth in Pembrokeshire. The Elan Valley. Lake Bala. The Mawdaach Trail. Wales weaves it's Magic.
One of the most beautiful spots in the world and the people are so friendly. I loved it. SMC
This makes me homesick to a country that's not even my own. Love Wales! Beautiful video!

The Welsh have lived there forever through multiple invasions and wars and they maintained their identity and language.
Yep, almost 3000 years. They've outlasted the Romans, Vikings, Normans, English (Saxon), the Welsh are a testament of perseverance and survival.
Is that why only a handful have ever got up and left for something different?
@Mathew Lewis In fact there's a whole community in Patagonia, South America who emigrated there in 1870 and still speak Welsh to this day.

Very clean and green amazing place on earth love from the land of peaks ( pakistan).
Upon knowledge of having much Welsh nationality, I viewed this and now want to move there one day, it looks like perfect serenity.

I recognised so many of those beauty spots, places I’ve been to over the years on a day out…………….. I live minutes from the coast, 20 minutes from waterfall country, 25/30 minutes from the Brecon Beacons, amazing place………

Incredible footage, different locations, conditions, seasons...must have been lot of work and patience. But the result is exquisite. Sublime music too.
Fun fact :: The Welsh territory once extended as Far East as Kent (south east England).
Also, one of the first hydroelectric power stations was built there. I’m not certain if it’s still operating today, but I believe they have a visitor centre there.

Wales is certainly an interesting country - I live just just 20 miles from Wales - obviously often visit to take photographs and enjoy spectacular scenery. Hope you make it over here.

Maybe you can be my guide one day there ! Lol.I know I am pushing my luck & don't mean to be pushy at all ! But ,if I ever go there ,I'd like to mingle w/ lots of locals ,rather than being in a group of tourists & visit the tourist's spots ! If I go there someday soon ,most likely I'll do so w/ my mom ,or a friend who is now studying in Liverpool ! But my money & health so on are issues that I'll have to work on seriously ! I’ve been to most if not all of those places, in the last two years. It would be nice if we weren’t so ignored as a country, to be honest.
Well, anybody would be if they had England next to them. Completely opposite people. The Welsh are introverted as most aren't really concerned about what others think of them. This is often a negative for Wales, as England takes advantage of it by promoting themselves any chance they can get.
Oh Yes, nearly every programme on Wales just shows the Valleys & Snowdonia, this is lovely. I imagine most people abroad think The UK is just London as it quite often barely gets a mention.
