    Thank you for this video. Particularly of interest for me is you showing a detailed look at the inside of the storage section of your seat. I will be traveling soon with a CPAP and I need to use this on board…unfortunately.

    Great review.
    Agreed that they do chicken very well out of CDG - albeit mine was slightly different (the mashed did not have mustard) when I went through back in 2018.

    Thanks for this comprehensive review, which shows exactly what people want to see before choosing AC. I'll be flying the airline for the first time in a few months. Your video shows me exactly what to expect on the 777-300ER aircraft. Big thumbs up for your effort and content.

    Would love to see a review of Air France’s new business class from YUL to CDG (or return) with the seats “appropriated” from AF’s defunct Joon subsidiary.

    Certain fresh food in plastic is still a Covid protocol, great review and thank you, for the salad they do usually comes with a plastic lid which is very easy to remove, the plastic wrap was def a CDG catering issue, not Air Canada standard. The glass, yeah not very good, however i believe it was not dirty, it was just not being dried properly after washing. Glad to see linen and warm bread returned

      I will have to see how AF fairs on CDG departures :) I am waiting for hot towels to be returned :P

  • @kiddo817
    @kiddo817 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    AC still hasn’t returned their catering to pre-COVID standards, so I’d expect some of this to happen. For the plastic wraps, I haven’t seen any of that on recent AC signature class flights. Might just be a catering issue specific to CDG.

    It may seem like a small thing but dirty glassware would just not be tolerated in the top echelon of airlines and why Air Canada does not have a place in the top ten. Another comment says the glassware was not dried properly; well again it would not be tolerated by top airlines. It's a shame really, because I thought seat layout was excellent and would be a selling feature for me.

    I noticed there was only one option for the light meal (ham and sausage?) - what if you can't have that due to dietary restrictions? Would there be any other options available?

    The glass is not dirty. It's too much water softening solution/salt getting added to the cleaning system, and unfortunately it's permanent. It is safe to drink from, just looks unsightly. Love your vids!

    Overall looks like a wonderful experience. It's a shame they no longer offer slippers on the long-haul flight:P I recall the pairs were of very decent quality. Thanks for sharing, I can't wait for my trip to Seoul by Dreamliner with Air Canada ever since covid.

    thank you again for another great review. I am looking forward to my Air Canada flight to Copenhagen coming up in 2 weeks. I will be returning on austrian airlines, any comments on their business class product? Also, i flew from Canada back home last weekend and the mask policy was not mandatory, left to the individuals discretion. What was your experience on the transatlantic flight?

    • @TraverseFlightReview
      @TraverseFlightReview  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you for your kind words Felicia! I have yet to try Austrian Airlines, but it seems like a fun one to try as well :) As for the masking mandate, on this flight in April the full masking mandate was still in place. To the best of my knowledge I believe the mandate is still in place for now at least....

      @@watershed44 wellll the water droplet marks are pretty visible on my 2nd glass for the main meal which should just need some proper drying... but yeah maybe Air Canada should invest in some new glasswares :)

    Air Canada may be ok if you stay in Canada. I was traveling to England and my luggage was not loaded on the plane, so I was not allowed to board. I was rebooked to Lisbon. That plane was 4 hours lates and I missed my connecting flight. All flights are delayed, be prepared for it. Just saying.

      @@kiddo817 true! pity for AF, don't understand why their seats and service are not top notch in bc; comparing to AF they have a much better service while in one holding! Also in the old days, when I was still very young, existed 'Royal Class' in KLM on long haul: pretty good with caviar, lobster, great wines etc. Alas those were the days my friend...
