- In this video I'm flying from Frankfurt to New York in the new Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020! I will perform stormy weather takeoff from Frankfurt and make beautiful landing in John F. Kennedy airport flying over the centre of New York during the approach. Amazing views on Manhattan, Central Park, Harlem and other interesting places. The aircraft is Boeing 747-8i - one of the largest airliners!
Note: the footage have been filmed in slow-motion for better quality.
At the moment of the recording this video all liveries for default 747-8 were mirrored at one side of the plane.

I flew into Frankfurt am Main in 2012 (on the way to Berlin) and my golly looking out the window and seeing the skyscrapers pierce the low clouds was like Star Wars: Empires Strikes Back - the cloud city. Just after sunrise. I’ll never forget it. Incredible!!

MSFS is one hell of an achievement in software engineering.
Does it have any combat aircraft like DCS World? If not then DCS is still king if you want to fly an Apache or a MiG.

@@krashd It does though you can't actually shoot anything. F-14 is the fastest aircraft in the game, though you do have to buy it as additional content. Soon it will have a Top Gun jet.

Wow, nice cinematography and art direction in the initial scenes. Sound design and choice was amazing. Great narration as well. You really have incredible skills at this and should pursue it if you already aren't. Wouldn't be surprised if you were a professional in the media industry or something. Really enjoyed the content, I am an avid flight simmer and have sunk hours in MS 2020 but your video took me back to being a passenger envying the pilots out there on every trip.

I'm blown away by the detail every single time I watch a FS2020 video... refuse to play until I have a computer that can actually run it with no issue.

I'm definitely not a pilot but....I have a lot of airmiles.
It looked like the slats were deployed for a LONG TIME. The last image is at 7:43 with them still out and the aircraft was apparently well clear of any t-storms (if that's even a reason).
Also, there was comm traffic over Manhattan on police band talking about shots fired @8:54. That would never happen, especially in the environment of a sterile cockpit. (Had to laugh when the audio said "a police and FIB sting operation").
All said, very enjoyable to watch.

Wow very impressive! You even used Lufthansa voice samples for the cabin sounds. When people run through real airports and film real aircrafts the art is to capture as much as possible. Your videos are harder to make because you are having only a little bit given so you have to think of as much to represent as possible and then find smart ways to actually do that. Very impressive videos!
