This sounds familiar. That’s what I said to my fiancé when we started wedding planning that I don’t want a puppy and the responsibility. Before we went to Petland,I also said we are just looking and thats it. We ended up buying a Bichon Frisé. Omg. Its my first time having a dog. Its a lot of responsibility but I’ve grown to love our fur baby like a real daughter.

if i can i’d literally have so many dogs of so many breeds. literally would have 4 dogs if it was manageable (i doubt it)
I have a springer spaniel who's six and so well trained i was looking for a friend for him and my neighbour knows I love dogs and came to me and asked me would I be interested on taking on a young female from a bad owner who had borderline neglected her and just lost his flat so was having to give her up. I took her on and she turned out to be heavily pregnant she gave birth to eight puppies two weeks after I got her. The puppies are six weeks leaving me in three weeks but I'm keeping my favourite the smallest girl so I've went from having one dog to three. I work from home selling online so have plenty of time for them. I think its as manageable as your schedule allows if you had a lot of time to dedicate to them and train them and the fiancé's for good food and vet costs four could be manageable if you're out a lot working and don't have time to train or spend with them then it wouldn't be. I know three are going to be a challenge but I'm home all the time I sell online so only have to print shipping labels and package items when sales come through so not doing a job that takes attention away from dogs. I've social anxiety and never leave house or go out as im also introverted and don't enjoy been around people I'm perfectly fine been at home with just my dogs. For most people three dogs would be too many and the dogs wouldn't get the attention or.training they need. Only have what you can afford and provide enough time and training for or its not fair on the dog
ok so funny thing, i’m glad im still in the house or i would be broke because every puppy i have seen i have almost bought and my parents have held me back so i thank them.

They said they got a lot too do,didn't really want a puppy then I got one 🐶isn't it irresponsible.....??😅 I just think if you're not 100% ready, you shouldn't get one yet.
I know they are all happy now maybe...... but it's easy to be wise after the event.
We always discussed getting a second dog - just wasn't anticipating it to happen so soon! Tbh all that talk in the beginning was me trying to convince myself but really i knew deep down i would be getting one tbh 😭

I don't think you should just stick the puppy in the crate straight away. You have to have the dog associate good things about the crate and ease them into the crate.
