What are you using for drive? Whenever I find something that gets me fat lead bridge pickup tones on single notes, it's always to much for when I need to play funk rhythm. But when you switch back to the chords there is still enough note separation. Are you using 2 different overdrives?

This was a Custom Audio boost, into a Maxon 808 into a cranked up Vox AC30, the Maxon was only kicked on for the melody and lead, So the rhythm stuff at the end was just the amp cranked up with the boost in front.

Super cool. Great sound and great playing. But you really need to get a new camera person. Video is really badly done, randomly “visits” each musician without any regard for solos or for what they’re doing at that moment. It also gives the viewer motion sickness!
