    What’s confusing are the rules about buying property when on a Bridging Visa A

      Hey there, there should be rules in place allowing you to do so. Speak to one of our migration agents and they can clarify this one for you pathwaytoaus.com/book-a-consultation/

    Just remove the non contributory visa already! It's a joke at 20 years waiting time.

  • @davidthorpe3122
    @davidthorpe3122 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    So if you decided to pay the smaller fee and wait approximately 20 years for the visa to be granted, would you parent(s) be on a bridging visa all those years and be allowed to stay in Australia or do they have to stay in there own country all those years then come to Australia after the visa is finally granted? Because if there already in there 60’s or 70’s they’re probably going to be dead 20 years later when the visa is finally granted!

      For the aged parent you may be able to get a bridging visa. But not the parent.

    Waiting time is more like 6-7 years on visa 143. Not sure if it speeds up after COVID plandemic is now in the past.

    Once you have applied for the contributory parent visa, if that parent is currently in Australia on a TSS work sponsored visa, is that parent allowed to continue working whilst waiting on the bridging visa for the parent visa to be granted and once the parent visa is granted, is that parent allowed to work in Australia or not?

    thank you ,
    if I got my 491 visa when i was younger than 45 and later if I want to change it to 190 or permanent residency , still should I be younger than 45 ?
    thank you again

    • @Pathwaytoaus
      @Pathwaytoaus  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You would move from the 491 to 191. You can move onto the 191 after 3 year and you can be over 45

    Thanks for the information. Are parents allowed to stay in Australia on bridging visa until their visa application is processed? For example, if a parent applied for aged contributory parent visa, can they stay in Australia for 3-4 years on a bridging if that’s how long it takes to process the application?

    • @Pathwaytoaus

      If you apply for the aged parent yes potentially, but not the parent visa

    Hello I am from Sri Lanka studying Aeronautical engineering. My sister is doing business management. We plan on coming to Australia for our master's degree in 2024. Is it possible for us to apply for PR in my country itself and also we plan on getting our parents citizenship as well later on. we plan on settling in Perth due to our relatives being there. What are the steps that you think we should take?
