I went on line and bought Dale Allison's book. Finally someone addressing supernatural happenings you cannot talk about to anyone. I have had them all my life since I was very little. I will read Mr. Allison's book, and if it is what I think it is, I will contact him. Thank you so much for having him on. I wrote all my experiences down and have it in a safety box that is water and fire proof, so where when I die (i am 75 years old) my family will find it, and maybe then they will get more of an understanding that can help them to lean on Jesus more. Jesus is so much more than people realize.

One point, he refers more than once to the "Angel" in the Gospel of Mark...but Mark is the one gospel that says explicitly that what the women saw at the empty tomb was a "young man" dressed in a white robe...nothing about an angel. Whereas, Matthew overwrites his source Mark so the figure is an angel from heaven, with an earthquake, and he appears like lightening--knocking the guards unconsciousness...and then Luke has two men with dazzling apparel. John is most interesting as only Mary Magdalene comes early, see nothing and no one, just the empty tomb...so vv. 1-10, as Jane Schaberg always maintained, probably is the most authentic and original account...followed by Mark, Matt, and Luke embellishing things!
My husband and I and our 14-year-old daughter were visiting San Francisco in the mid-90’s. We were walking all over, turned a corner and started to walk down a certain street. A man came out of the alley and told us “I wouldn’t go there.” So we turned around. My husband wanted to thank him and intended to give him some money. When he turned back, he wasn’t there. He was like an angel warning us of danger!
