- Today was our first fully day with Cadie and she did wonderful! We traveled back to New Delhi tonight for her medical exam tomorrow morning, and she loved her first plane ride ever!

I love watching Gotcha days .In the past month I have watched over 300 from all over including allot from India and I have to say the she is the MOST WELL ADJUSTED child out of ALL the videos I have seen.The place where you got her from seems AMAZING.That book they made for her is priceless. You are the first family I have seen get a book like that.When I saw that book and the envelope they put in from the passport really showed how much they care for the children there Ramesh seems like such a wonderful man .God Bless him.

Baba’s little monologue about how great his daughter is…… seriously the cutest thing I have ever seen! I have tears in my eyes. There are biological fathers who aren’t that proud of their daughters. You guys are just the sweetest parents any child could hope for.
This is my 3rd time rewatching the adoption of Cadence. It is in my heart to adopt at least one of my children. I just had my first baby in march and it is still just as strong in my heart to adopt. I have been drawn to India as well. Seeing the recent videos of Cadence now, she has grown into quite the young lady. God has blessed her with an amazing family and has blessed you with an amazing daughter.

"I will get her whatever she wants" You made me remember my own father, he spoilt me every single time, you melted my heart and that's difficult to accomplish.

as an adoptee child myself now 21 adopted at age 4. at 4 years old I recalled my first and birth name my birth family gave me and my mum now put it in my name as my middle name and the orphanage gave me Roshan. So How did you guys come up with her name Katie? was that your choice or was that the orphanage because I know for me how imprint it was to keep my biological or an India name. it's who we are and keeping making sure she stays within her culture or has some involvement is super helpful and important to us as children to not forget but also to not have so much trouble with coming to terms with out identifies as we grow older as well into schools and other parts of life. It is amazing how wall they treated her. I live in India and I have been to the orphanage and they treat them terribly, it is so sad, they also steal all of the stuff the kids ever had, I cried so much.
