  • A Propped Cantilever beam of span 5m is subjected to point load of 16KN at a distance of 3m from the fixed end. Find the fixed end moment at A and vertical reactions and draw shear force and bending moment diagram. Use Moment Area Method.

    please give me a solution of this i can not find the solution on book "a spring suppported by propped cantilever beam AB end A is fixed and end B is supported by translational spring .Spring Stiffness K = 10000 kN/m . AB span is 7.5 meter .the beam is subjected to a concentrated load of 20kn as well as a concentraded moment 10kn/m at a distant 6 meter from a .the support b is also subjected to settlement A . assume a constant EI; E=200 Gpa and I = 200 E7 mm^4 . solve the problem by moment distributuin method in minimum three trials . also draw tension side tension bmd as well as sfd for the beam "

      typing mistake. 125/3 is correct
