Great tip video! I have two rotary cutters, one of them is an ergonomic one that I don’t use as often. I have to teach myself to start using rotary cutters to cut out my patterns. I have not done that yet because I am a scissors user, LOL!
The little black button on the 'trigger' action cutter can be pressed in to lock the blade into place, either retracted or in use. TFS xx

Just want to add that the straight rotary cutter also comes with a separate, special (hard-to-find!) arm to set the seam allowance width. That is what the "keyhole" in the middle of the handle is for!

I've seen a cutting method where you lay paper under slippery fabric and cut them both. But won't that ruin my fabric scissors?????
if you use sydney paper it wont be ruined as the paper is tissue like material so it wont damaged the scissors :)
