Back in 1948 my playmates and I, on a bright Summer day, in a cloudless sky saw what we first took to be an airplane....It appeared to us as the airplanes which we saw from time to time as it seemed to be make of unpainted aluminum.....We could not determine the exact shape due to the bright sun making the object look like a very bright light by reflection......It was soundless and we took it to be an airplane at very high altitude....After we watched it move in a straight line for several minutes something happened that made us drop the airplane idea...... It abruptly made a 90 degree turn to it's left and shot across the sky and was completely gone in a split second..... When it made the left turn we were able to continue watching it for a moment as it traversed quite a section of sky, and then it was completely gone.......
I’m a sceptic but my mother, who was very intelligent and worked in aviation, swore black and blue that she saw a huge craft in the night sky over south east Melbourne back in the mid 80’s. Until the day she passed away she said it was not man made.
When I was 13, growing up in Eastern Washington, my younger brother and I were playing outside in a big field near our house. Through that field ran a dirt road which went to another big grazing area a mile or so upcountry. It was just after dark when we decided to walk to the upper field, for what reason I’ve totally forgotten, maybe just to hunt beer bottles along the road which we could sell back to the local store. Yeah, kids did that in the early 60’s, lol. The evening was really bright.....big new moon was out and it was facing our direction, entire landscape and sky very well lit. Bob, the dog and a neighbor kid caught up with us. I’d noticed some cottonball type clouds pretty high directly over us, but not as high as the mountain which bordered one side of that little valley. One little “cloud” was much lower, it was in fact, only about, maybe 200 feet above us.......hey, I was a kid, what kid pays any attention to heights of normal things floating by. So, anyway, that little cloud was floating down towards us, and when it got directly over us, and this I DID notice because that little cloud looked so out of place right there, alone, kind of swirling around, but it stopped, then I stopped the other boys and we all, except Bob of course, stared up, commenting about what a weird cloud, what might of made it stop, maybe mountain winds were veering, the neighbor kid thought. So, after a minute or so, we went back to walking up there, not spooked or anything at all. After maybe like 10 minutes, I happened to look back,......then up.......and then I did get scared, we all did, except Bob of course, and even he was staying close. That cloud was behind us and now it was down to maybe 50 feet high and only 30 or 40 feet behind. As I remember, the little cloud was now very silvery and, though still swirling about, stopped when we stopped, then began to float back down the valley away from us, although it didn’t,t climb. We went on to the upper meadows, not mentioning that little cloud again until a few weeks later I remembered the incident and told Mom about it. She shrugged it off as just a spooked kid, but I never really was spooked that night.........just mostly baffled. And........neither my brother Jody nor I ever forgot that or seen anything like it again. When many years later after I became interested in UFO’s, I did a lot of hard remembering about it.
I'm under the impression that they are residing under the oceans. That makes more sense to me than that they are extraterrestrial. There have been reports of strange lights under the ocean since before Columbus.
I saw a green fire ball. Late one evening while driving through a southern Ca. desert. I was headed south, the fireball west to east. Directly above me to my right it started breaking through. By the time it was above it was as big as the moon. As it passed me it started returning into space. Leaving behind a chem-trail vapor of sorts that fell toward me. Mid 1990s.
Keneth Arnold had another sighting of approximately 25 unidentified objects, i read somewhere. He was an experienced pilot, and and intelligent man. He knew what he saw, and no doubt had many hours to decide if he should make it public. He would have got his calculations right.
This is the truth I was kidnapped once and I could not move I tried to move and scream and could not do either. They walked right through the wall and put a small metal in my neck and then they left left through the same glass window.

Hard to listen to the speaker misprounce Ruppelt's name every chapter, but the book is an interesting insight into this peculiar aspect of American H-bomb-age culture...
All skeptics who think a cover up isn't possible because to many people would be involved needs to listen to this to understand how a culture of denial is cultivated
I enjoyed this recording having read the book many years ago. For the most part I think Ruppelt did his best to be honest. He failed pitifully however, when he claimed to have solved the Lubbock Lights but could not tell us what they were because he gave his word to the anonymous scientist who supposedly discovered the truth behind the lights. Ruppelts word is not good enough and untill we know the who, what, when, where, why and how; Mister Ruppelt is not be a man to be trusted.
@@josgood5412 I enjoyed the book. I like it because it gives us a look at how the mind set was back then. But regardless of his reasoning it detracts a lot from what he wrote/said. If it was a metrological event or something possibly scientific that had military application I think he could have phrased his decision to not tell us why, in a better way.
The newest report is a cover story. They had 2 at the pentagon guys. It needs to be a matter of that they are there not only if military people see them are the reports credible.

I swear to Jesus Christ a large silent space craft floated over me and my friend one night in Alberta Canada. It didn't have bright lights.
Saw one myself early 1990s Brisbane. Biggest thing I've ever seen and it was floating in the sky blocked out most of the sky. Mind blowing.
I woke up one night. I saw two lights moving in sync, left to right until they vanished.
