    Hi Stu please go over Heirloom Rosebush. I’ve heard you say it’s real and personal. Pls clarify.

    • @realestatestu
      @realestatestu  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is dependent on the other answers and how the term heirloom is interpreted. If you interpret it as “heirloom” meaning family heirloom. It should be considered personal. If you are referring to it as simply a classification or type of rose bush, with no unique relationship to the parties attaching it, then in my opinion it should be real property. I’ve answered several multiple choice questions where my intepretation is most of the time personal property, however I answered it that way not knowing that heirloom was potentially a type of rose bush. I am not the author of the question, so I can not know what their intention was on the addition of heirloom. I’m simply giving you my take on it, and you have to carefully read the question and the answers.

      I get it, however it is simply an example.
      I've been teaching for 13+ years. I started out describing illegal object of a contract simply as anything illegal. Students then asked for examples. I tried several examples, but students would sometimes confuse it. So I then went to saying "illicit drug sales" to have a clear contrast, and understanding of what illegal object of a contract is. Then I was asked what an illicit substance was.....and I simply gave into the fact that naming a drug would be easier to understand and as clear as I could make it.
      I do NOT condone drug abuse, I do not endorse it, and it is simply mentioned as an example of an illegal objective of a contract. I'm sorry if you feel that it is too much, but it is an example of an illegal objective. I do not know what illegal objective of a contract anyone would feel comfortable mentioning. I condone all illegal activity.
