I've been worried a lot lately, after investing so many hours to edit for work I thought I lost the ability to edit fanvideos. I keept starting projects, having ideas but nothing really happened... I hope this video proves that nothing is wrong and i'm back to normal because I want to edit, a lot! and I really need it tbh
YT messed with the quality, there are a couple of glitches and now I can't even watch the video without feeling bad, thank you yt. Anyway I'm going to let it be...
I wanted to edit something with the Haunting of Hill House since I finished watching and I knew I had to start with them. I hope you'll like it and that are some fans of the show here ^^
I have no idea what will be next I'll be happy with anything as long as I edit something, stay inspired!!

I thought the series was just going to be creepy and shit but it actually made me really emotional and realize just how important family is. I didn't expect to cry so damn much. these two were my fave and they deserved the whole world.
OK WOW THAT LAST SCENE WITH NELL LOOKING DOWN AND BABY LUKE WOW I DON'T KNOW EMOTIONS ANYMORE.
This is probably the best edit I've ever seen. The "1,2,3,4,5,6,7" part was so beautiful !

i don't know how you do it. as i've probably told you too many times already, you don't edit - you create magic. this had me smiling and sobbing and clenching my fists in pain all at once. i don't know how you manage to provoke that reaction with a simple song and simple footage, but it's incredible.
your analysis of their special twin bond, their overall relationship and their paralleling individual struggles is so on point. luke and nellie were cursed from the start, and i think that's the most heartbreaking thing about the show.
your minimalistic use of sound effects and matching footage in this is BREATHTAKING. the constant use of pills and ropes combined with the "i took the easy way out" lyrics? ouch, my heart. parts that really stood out for me were 1:59 - 2:14 (the contrast between nellie getting her makeup done and then the makeup pencil falling, nellie falling and then the dirt falling on her coffin), 2:36 - 2:58 had me crying, the transition of nell twirling in 3:07 - 3:09, and the ending. i honestly lack of better words, i'm gonna be rewatching this many many times as i do with all your videos, please never stop.

i love this so much!! their relationship is easily my favourite part of the show and definitely the most heartbreaking. that house completely fucked both of their early lives and i love that you portrayed how similar their paths were, the difference being luke made it through and nell didn't (but she's not gone from his life). that probably didn't make any sense but it doesn't change how great this is!! love it

when i saw that you had uploaded a video about Luke and Nell i prepared myself to get EMOTIONAL but when the first notes of the song started playing,,, i realized that i was SO not ready oh my god
first of all thank you for making the video about these two. their relationship was the most emotional part of the series and left me all kinds of heartbroken (and since i LOVE to torture myself with angst seeing your upload made me feel ecstatic).
secondly thank you for choosing this song. i mean your song choice is always absolutely impeccable, but this one hit too close to home.
and then the editing itself. goddamit how you intertwined the clips through visual parallels and the lines, one continuing the other so smoothly, so perfect!
in conclusion i just wanna say how much i love everything you do💖💗💕 THANK YOU for being so brilliant

You don't have anything to worry about when it comes to your editing skills and ability to create something poignant. This is so good. I love the way you cut between them as children and adults when they looked at each other and during their interactions. It not only captured the point of the show, that everything is happening at once, but it was moving to see that part of them always saw each other as children and that their bond never wavered or changed, despite the way trauma changed them as people. Definitely my favorite video about their relationship so far.

You make it so beautiful, some of the moments, or the words, or the looks, they don't affect me the same before and after seeing them in one of your videos, and suddenly they have so much more meaning, or they seem so much more emotional. I don't know how to say it better. I loved their relationship and I really like how you mixed their child and adult selves to create something as warm and heartbreaking as that last look between adult Nell and child Luke.

Your hard work shows through, I actually don't know this story at all but watching how you edit match cuts together and draw parallels, and focus on the characters' relationships, is really incredible. And I always love hearing your choices of music, almost always something new that becomes an addition to my favourites. It's so unique, an kind of calming (with the dash of angst).

Even tho i've seen it several times and gave you my feedback, i still don't have the proper words to describe how special this is (other than 'asdfghjkl' xD). The way you caught their essence, and told their story in the most bittersweet but beautiful way .. also your parallel and voiceover work is obviously outstanding, like always. I'd love to point out my favorite parts but i honestly don't know where to begin ... it feels like one big parallel and every clip is placed where it belongs.

This edit hit me right in the feels. It's months since I've seen the tv show and Luke/Nell still makes me so emotional. I teared up during your video and got goosebumps all over my body. The editing is flawless and so damn smooth. I've seen every fan video about the twins (not kidding) and this is by far the most beautiful and so well done. Your song choice is on point and thank you so much for that (kind of positive and warm) ending of your video. I love it and can't wait to watch it on repeat for the next couple of weeks

I'm just so happy you liked it and that you loved the ending, I always try to end my videos on a positive note if posible since I tend to make really sad videos, it was really hard to find a hapyish ending that fited in here but I'm so glad I found it, I think the ending makes the video better somehow.
