I absolutely got owned by the tennis racket.
I still haven't beaten this game, but when I do. It'll be a momentous occasion for me, this game was a huge part of my childhood, even if it was just a pre installed game.

You know what would be really cool? If someone made a mod of this game to add more stages, music, etc.
I don't think it'd be easy considering how this game is pretty much forgotten by nintendo completely, but to see something like that would be the coolest stuff ever.
Also thank HAL laboratory (Basically the ones who made the Kirby franchise) which also made this game

This level terrified me for some reason as a kid but I also loved it.
I don't know why, but that disco ball appearing out of nowhere gave me the creeps when I was younger ahahaha
I love how this stage presented itself... In the prior stages, the face raiders and even our bullets could crack the room around us and reveal these ethereal portals, like the room around us was an illusion. And in this stage, the illusion is lifted, and we're shown that we're deep in some dimensional vortex, probably where the raiders come from! Really nifty setpiece!

Weird but super nostalgic game for me, either way the ost has no right going this hard.
God damn I absolutely hated this stage. The stage before the boss is easy(ish). But the boss is just WAY TO JANKY, you never know which way the laser is gonna go. If there’s any tips on “How do you actually win”, then give it to me ASAP.
The laser always goes in the opposite way the boss is spinning. E.g. if the boss spins clockwise, the laser goes in the opposite way (counterclockwise)

And on the second one, maintain calm and don't shoot like crazy or you'll shoot the afro and die faster than the people in the Titanic submarine, when the face appears, carefully shoot it without hitting the afro, but you have to do it quick as the boss actually throws the afro at you, so you have to hit the face as fast as you can before the afro hits you
