You're very brave to disconnect the battery while the engine is running. A power surge can destroy the electronics. The soldered connections are unsuitable for 300A current. The rest is very nice work, although I would have separated the balance wires (next to the BMS connector) with Kapton tape, currently they touch each other.
My only issue is why is there a USB port on it???? The voltage meter I can understand but why a USB port. It's under the hood so it's not like you're going to be using it and it's going to get full of dirt and dust and everything else so it renders it useless.
Those batteries are highly temperature sensitive and need proper cooling method otherwise it cooks inside your engine bay. Also you need to replace your stock alternator to high current alternator that supposed to charge Lifepo4 batteries otherwise stock alternator melts itself when idling.
My question is, can lithium ion batteries like the one you made be charged in series with a car charger? As far as I know, it will be damaged if it is charged too soon. Thank you for your reply
I'll answer for him... you're right, you need a correct charging system from the alternator to give it a constant voltage, never mind thinking about cranking power needed, you can't use it straight from the alternator to charge it (prob modern ones with constant voltage Amps, with Dc-Dc might) can't swap a Lead acid with a LifePo4 battery one for the other, you have to check requirements and use a suitable BMS/charging system, watch the end of the video, he checks everything and you can tell he's got the correct charger.
It's better not to do that. Yes, the BMS board on the battery can ptotect from the overcharging, but the explosiveness of those batteries require at least two systems to control the voltage. So a specialized charging device is needed.

But why? LiPo/LiIon are sensitive to low temps, but lifepo4 are great there. They can be both charged or discharged at about -30 degrees Celsius without any trouble. A good replacement to the Pb batteries.

He used a 300A BMS, and most BMS have a small delay to cut on overcurrent. Small petrol engines can be started with 150-200A, especially in hot climate like Vietnam.

А как зимой? Эти аккумуляторы не могут заряжаться при температуре ниже нуля.

Lifepo4 bateries are not good for use in cars, they are very prone to LOW TEMPETURES, btu this would be very good for solar.

The balancing current is very low, 0.1A-0.6A depending on the BMS. While you're correct in the physics, the actual voltage drop is negligible.
