Bonjour, mademoiselles! Your episodes make me smile. It is really refreshing to hear about your joys and struggles in a place where you all didn't initially speak the language. Glad you found one another, and thanks for sharing!
You 3 are so inspiring!! I'm so happy I found your channel. I live in New York City now but I'm moving to Paris next year and have no idea where to start with the job search. I would love to know more about how you were able to find work within your respective industries without initially speaking French. I have an amazing job now as a financial consultant but I'm not sure how that will translate in France. Thanks in advance! Can't wait to see more of your videos! xo
Hi Olivia! Thank you for your support! Let's stay in contact and e-mail your questions to almostparisienne@gmail.com and we will help as best as we can!
Hello Sisters, I wish I could have experienced this type of life 30 years ago! But God did not let me do it because I was too naive and trusting. I am so glad that I did not go because God knew that I would have gotten in some kind of trouble by trusting too many people. Please take care of yourselves and don't trust too many people! Keep GOD first
I'm not sure if you've answered this question in any of your other videos & so I apologize if this is redundant but I just came across this one and got so excited! I'm about to graduate from college this upcoming April and I really want to live in Paris for a year before heading off to grad school. I just want to know how you guys did it? Is there any thing you can tell me that might help lol like jobs, housing, going to a new country alone, being a black woman, etc. Any wisdom you'd like to impart on me lol!
Hi Shayla! Best wisdome : just do it! Depending on where you are from , (visa) and how well you speak the language, things can be less/more complicated. Shoot us an e-mail : almostparisienne@gmail.com and tell us a little bit more about your background.
You all dress so beautifully. Did you feel compelled to really make an effort to look nicer (all the time) in order to fit in? And are clothes in general cut to fit women better than in the U.S.? And just in general less expensive for clothes that are better quality?
Hello, Maya, Hanna and Tanya! I'll be visiting Paris in the end of April for the first time with a few girlfriends. I watch and love your videos and I'd love to meet up with you all for lunch and chat 😊 if this is possible please let be know
i dont mind these videos i am not offended by them its just that i find them so cliched, especially the intro, clearly geared towards an american audience but thats ok

Congrats, making real connections in a big city is always a challenge!
So true! But once you do make those connections you know that you pretty much have friends for life. :)
I'm so glad I found your channel!, I hope I can find a good group of friends like you three when I move to Lyon in September.

Ladies, are you all Americans? Sounds like it, and it is refreshing to see Black women from USA abroad and together. ♥
Jeetje mina wat zijn jullie ongelooflijk mooie meissies
You all are very beautiful, attractive women, but I have to mention Tanya's teeth & lips are exquisite! 😀
