I have the first gen Venture quartz that I got from Ebay for $80. Seriously one of my favorite watches, I wear it daily at work as a chef. Perfect for doing dishes, being lightweight and just the perfect little watch to beat up. The case is different than the first gen, loving the new color dials and upgraded movement is great. Might just have to get this one as an upgrade.
It's really great to hear the real world stories of what watches are going through and doing. I looked at the original version awhile back, and it is a really excellent watch.
