This awesome pastor brought me out of my prodigal son days. My daughter went and lived in Costa Mesa and did Vanguard College and told me (in Oregon) to listen. The original Greek text never said, "COUNT" the Worshippers... but to measure the Worshipper... St. John did not provide any NUMERICAL Value of measurements in cubits or any ancient units/scale... unlike in Rev. 21:16, the Angel gave a Numerical value of 12,000 furlongs (approx. 240,000 KM.=150,000 Miles) for the measurement of the New Gate Walls, which is equal to the length and to the width or square shape in plan... Therefore, the TEMPLE and the ALTAR are not literal Stone Temple and Altar... just like in Beauty Pagent, they have measurement sticks/rods for Beauty, for Brain/Intelligence, and for measuring Talent/Skills... the same analogy... the TEMPLE represents the Body of Christ which is the CHURCH,... the ALTAR represents the THRONE of God, and the WORSHIPPERS, representS the Christians, the Bride of Christ... and the measuring rod/sticks represents the "HIGHEST STANDARD" of Worthiness of the Church, the Greatness of God and the Faithfulness of the People of God... How do I know that the Measuring rod/stick to measure the TEMPLE, ALTAR, and Worshipper are not all LITERAL... Read Rev. 21 & 22, you will not find any NEW TEMPLE in the midst (middle) of the New Gatewall of the New Jerusalem. Therefore, the measuring stick/rod represents the Highest Standard of Measurement for WORTHINESS, GREATNESS, and FAITHFULNESS... Amen
This hypothesis doesn’t hold up when Ezekiel 40-48 is taken into account. There’s some massive terraforming going on with the final bowls to reshape the landscape of Israel to make room for what’s described in Ezekiel….meaning the temple built for Daniel’s 70th week doesn't have any bearing on what’s described to be in place for the millennial reign.

Prophet Ezekiel's vision given by God was ALL about the 2nd Temple to be rebuilt which came true (fulfilled) during the time of the PERSIAN Empire, King Cyrus, completed in 515 BCE...then after the 2nd Temple was rebuilt, it was renovated and extended the temple by King Herod, before the 2nd Temple was destroyed by the Roman Empire in around 70 A.D. In conclusion, Theologians, Bible Scholars, and Apologetics confirmed and agreed that there were NO PROPHECIES in the O.T. about the Literal 3rd Temple that will be rebuilt... What the Jews/Israel believe was about PARALLELISM EVENT ... but not thru Biblical Prophecies... 1st Event, after their Exile from Babylon, they went back to their land in 538 BCE and rebuilt the 2nd Temple, completed in 515 BCE during the Persian Empire... then the 2nd Event, after they were scattered (exiled) from around the world due to the destruction of the 2nd Temple by the Roman Empire in around 70 A.D., the Jews came back to their land in 1948 A.D. thru the sanction of the U.N. resolution headed by Russia, UK, and USA... They made parallelism of those 2 events in that they believe they must and should build the 3rd Temple... that is their parallelism... but not thru Biblical account or Prophecy from God... for God does not want any more Animal Burnt sacrifices for the Atonement of SIN of Mankind... so, why would God allow to build the literal 3rd Temple?... The New High Priesthood of God is Christ Jesus and the New Law is Christ's Law, no longer the Mosaic Law (Hebrews 7:12). Prophet Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and Daniel Prophesied that the Jews/Israelites will come back to their Land and rebuild the destroyed 1st Temple built by Solomon, and those prophecies came true/fulfilled, but NO literal 3rd Temple was mentioned in those Prophecies... You may argue, how about 2 Thessalonians 2:4, where it narrates the Man of Lawlessness/Son of Perdition/666/AntiChrist will "SEAT IN the TEMPLE of God"... Take note: "Seat in" and not "Seat at"... therefore it is not a place or building... The English word SEAT is not used as a verb to SIT-IN/ON the literal CHAIR... The word SEAT means having the "Power and Authority."... just like the "SEAT OF OFFICE" of the President or the "CHAIRMAN" of the Board... therefore, 2 Thessa 2:4, means the AntiChrist will have POWER and AUTHORITY over the TEMPLE (Body of Christ which is the Church of God), that will result to APOSTASY, DESOLATION or the Great FALL AWAY of Christian Faith... and the AntiChrist will be revealed who this human person will be... then the persecution of the Christians will start... and so on... Yeshua has confirmed the covenant for the 3 & 1/2 years of his earthly ministry from about the age of 30, until he was crucified. He and John Baptist are coming to feed the flock of Israel for 42 months, thereby confirming His covenant during the Tribulation period. See, also, Revelation 12:6.
In Rev. 11:1, when the Angel provided a measuring stick/rod and asked St. John to measure the TEMPLE, the ALTAR, and the WORSHIPER... Was the measuring rod/stick for measuring LINEAR DISTANCES and what UNIT of Measurements?... Not mentioned... The original Greek text never said, "COUNT" the Worshippers... but to measure the Worshipper... St. John did not provide any NUMERICAL Value of measurements in cubits or any ancient units/scale... unlike in Rev. 21:16, the Angel gave a Numerical value of 12,000 furlongs (approx. 240,000 KM.=150,000 Miles) for the measurement of the New Gate Walls, which is equal to the length and to the width or square shape in plan...
Therefore, the TEMPLE and the ALTAR are not literal Stone Temple and Altar... just like in Beauty Pagent, they have measurement sticks/rods for Beauty, for Brain/Intelligence, and for measuring Talent/Skills... the same analogy... the TEMPLE represents the Body of Christ which is the CHURCH,... the ALTAR represents the THRONE of God, and the WORSHIPPERS, representS the Christians, the Bride of Christ... and the measuring rod/sticks represents the "HIGHEST STANDARD" of Worthiness of the Church, the Greatness of God and the Faithfulness of the People of God...
How do I know that the Measuring rod/stick to measure the TEMPLE, ALTAR, and Worshipper are not all LITERAL... Read Rev. 21 & 22, you will not find any NEW TEMPLE in the midst (middle) of the New Gatewall of the New Jerusalem.
Therefore, the measuring stick/rod represents the Highest Standard of Measurement for WORTHINESS, GREATNESS, and FAITHFULNESS... Amen
This hypothesis doesn’t hold up when Ezekiel 40-48 is taken into account. There’s some massive terraforming going on with the final bowls to reshape the landscape of Israel to make room for what’s described in Ezekiel….meaning the temple built for Daniel’s 70th week doesn't have any bearing on what’s described to be in place for the millennial reign.

"BEFORE" Prophet Ezekiel was taken by God into a VISION... Prophet Ezekiel was in EXILE with his wife during the Time of the Babylonian Empire, according to the Bible... therefore, the 1st Literal Wall Temple built by King Solomon was destroyed by the Babylonian Empire, King Nebuchadnezzar... the scripture narrated in part that God took Prophet Ezekiel thru a vision and took him back to the "LAND OF ISRAEL" and place him in a high mountain...why?... because he and his wife were exiled (away from their land)...
Prophet Ezekiel's vision given by God was ALL about the 2nd Temple to be rebuilt which came true (fulfilled) during the time of the PERSIAN Empire, King Cyrus, completed in 515 BCE...then after the 2nd Temple was rebuilt, it was renovated and extended the temple by King Herod, before the 2nd Temple was destroyed by the Roman Empire in around 70 A.D.
In conclusion, Theologians, Bible Scholars, and Apologetics confirmed and agreed that there were NO PROPHECIES in the O.T. about the Literal 3rd Temple that will be rebuilt... What the Jews/Israel believe was about PARALLELISM EVENT ... but not thru Biblical Prophecies...
1st Event, after their Exile from Babylon, they went back to their land in 538 BCE and rebuilt the 2nd Temple, completed in 515 BCE during the Persian Empire...
then the 2nd Event, after they were scattered (exiled) from around the world due to the destruction of the 2nd Temple by the Roman Empire in around 70 A.D., the Jews came back to their land in 1948 A.D. thru the sanction of the U.N. resolution headed by Russia, UK, and USA...
They made parallelism of those 2 events in that they believe they must and should build the 3rd Temple... that is their parallelism... but not thru Biblical account or Prophecy from God... for God does not want any more Animal Burnt sacrifices for the Atonement of SIN of Mankind... so, why would God allow to build the literal 3rd Temple?... The New High Priesthood of God is Christ Jesus and the New Law is Christ's Law, no longer the Mosaic Law (Hebrews 7:12).
Prophet Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and Daniel Prophesied that the Jews/Israelites will come back to their Land and rebuild the destroyed 1st Temple built by Solomon, and those prophecies came true/fulfilled, but NO literal 3rd Temple was mentioned in those Prophecies...
You may argue, how about 2 Thessalonians 2:4, where it narrates the Man of Lawlessness/Son of Perdition/666/AntiChrist will "SEAT IN the TEMPLE of God"...
Take note: "Seat in" and not "Seat at"... therefore it is not a place or building... The English word SEAT is not used as a verb to SIT-IN/ON the literal CHAIR... The word SEAT means having the "Power and Authority."... just like the "SEAT OF OFFICE" of the President or the "CHAIRMAN" of the Board... therefore, 2 Thessa 2:4, means the AntiChrist will have POWER and AUTHORITY over the TEMPLE (Body of Christ which is the Church of God), that will result to APOSTASY, DESOLATION or the Great FALL AWAY of Christian Faith... and the AntiChrist will be revealed who this human person will be... then the persecution of the Christians will start... and so on...
Take note: During the time of Prophet Ezekiel, God would not make a vision for the 3rd Temple to be rebuilt if the 2nd Temple Building was not yet built at the time of Prophet Ezekiel's VISION as well as the Prophecies of Prophet Jeremiah and Daniel... therefore, Ezekiel's Vision was all about the 2nd Temple, and not the literal 3rd Temple...

@@humblewatchman1673 It seems the same in Ezekiel Vision and REV. 11 but they are not, due to the measuring Stick/Rod, but in Ezekiel Vision, the measuring stick/rod was used for Length, Width, and Height or by Distance measurements... but in Rev. 11, the measuring stick/rod was not mentioned to be used as the same as in Ezekiel Vision... In Rev. 11 it was clearly narrated, "GO AND MEASURE THE TEMPLE OF GOD AND THE ALTAR, WITH ITS WORSHIPERS"... how do you measure the WORSHIPERS?... It did not say, COUNT the number of worshipers at the Altar... you can measure also those WORSHIPERS thru their FAITHFULNESS, and OBEDIENCE... just like the Beauty Pagent, they are measured thru their BEAUTY, INTELLIGENCE (I.Q.) and TALENT... and not just thru NUMERICAL measurements...

NOTE:The Greek word Harpazo (Rapture) means snatched away; Jesus will come for His Bride to keep us from Jacobs Trouble, The Wrath of The Lamb (The Great Tribulation).
When Jesus returns it will be all over; we'll have peace on Earth and all that. Why rapture then? Pointless.
The purpose of the rapture is to save God's followers from the worst of the Great Tribulation. Then we return when Jesus returns.
