I have one and using my Bushnell velocity radar I clocked 43mph. it could have gone much faster but I had to quickly pull breaks because it seemed crazy fast and out of control.Only diss is that it's really made cheaply for something packing such amazing power.

He isnt kidding about the tired exploding, i had a nitro 4tech 3.3 in red, when i finished waring it in i decided to see how fast i can go, in a few seconds later my car flipped & did some stupid shit & turns our the tires were torn and the rims were broken
look at a Traxxas 4x4 Stampede, I live in Michigan and love mine in the snow
is the battery for the easy start and if not does it powers the servos or what powers the servos?

What do you run it on? Gas that you fill your regular car with or you have to buy top fuel. If yes, from where can i find this?
It uses nitro fuel. You can get it from most hobby stores that has hobby grade rc cars.
I just bought one yesterday in perfect condition, for $80. Just need to order a new drive belt.

i got a 2003 traxxas t-maxx that came with a 2.5 engine and right now i got a 3.3 coming in the mail soon and to avoid the tires being blown off what should i do to avoid that from happening?
When i bought my 3.3 edition it didn't come with anything extra like a fuel bottle,charger,battery, or even an extra glow plug. Did you have to order it with those spec. tires cause mine looked alot diff. except the rims?
hi i heard u say it wont have problems goin threw dirt or low grass and i wouldnt wanna do that with this nice of an r/c but the question i have is does it bounce around on the reguler street black top = pot holes or cracks in the road. will hpi vintage rims and the hpi old muscle car bodies fit on it. i read its a 200 mm body and hpi makes some and im sure there would need 2 b some cut and trim goin on with this. thank you

@sawmem Good bet. The brushless e-revo is a monster! Get a proline GMC topkick body for it and you will have your dreams come true.

Hey man should i get the nitro 4-tec 3.3 or the jato 3.3 i will be using on-road, most of the time. Possibly flat dirt but because the price is similar on both i am undecided, thx for the reply in advanced.

The slash and slayer pro 4×4 were two different R/C platforms I should know I have both including the 2.5 nitro 4-tec then the 3.3 4-tec. Yes the original tires sucked I could melt down a set of wheels and tires in less than 1/4 of a tank of 20% Nitro fuel

Hi I need some help I recently got a traxxas
On road car looks like the old model of the 4tech but idk it has a .15 engine can anyone tell me what it is?
Is it possible to put off-road wheels on the traxxas 4-tec 3.3???

This is what i'm buying for summer street runs, while keeping my beefed up Slash for the track and bashing.
I can't wait for this thing, but now i'll know that I need to work around the wheels a bit when I buy it, so I can get better traction plus better lock nuts to really secure everything down.
Oh and did you guys ever end up using red loc-tite or the blue? Red would be better for this, even though things can be a pain in the ass to remove.
