I never knew collecting manga was such a journey and difficult sorta in the same time. Especially when someone as young as me who doesn’t work yet and just wants to collect so much manga! Collecting manga as a minor sucks. I honestly can't wait until I'm an adult in two years and be able to get a job that pays well compared to the part-time work I can find as a minor.

@@yclawz I hate asking my parents permission because I’m too “young” and I do pay mangas with my own money. But sometimes I just hate to ask my parents permission and think I’m bothering them 😖
@@remiiremz9434 Wait, how old are you? (Sorry for asking this question if it's too private.) Your parents must be really strict if you gotta ask them for permission to buy something with your own money. But, I can really relate to the part of being afraid to 'bother' your parents. Most of the time I avoid having to ask my parents for things too. I just hate asking for things in general idk y.
@@yclawz my parents aren’t exactly strict about it- they do support me collecting mangas and sometimes they do bother to spend their own money for them. But sometimes, my parents like to say to me to not spend my money so much and to save but I do. I’m recently just turned 16 so I could start looking for a job but it’s also hard because I’m quarantined. I don’t like that my parents spend they’re money to buy mangas for me which is exactly why I want to be older more

Just a heads up I saw that you're collecting monster and just wanted to let you know that volume 5 of the perfect editions is currently up on barnes and noble for preorder, they're getting them in by February 4th. Just wanted to share since Its been really hard to find volume 5 of the PE in english.

I would recommend you to put the led lights inside the shelf behind the manga , cause by putting them Infront they create a shadow and you can't see them clearly

I feel like I'm chilling at a friend's house ^u^ I have a really small JP manga collection (Psycho-Pass & Dengeki Daisy), and I'm curious about how you maintain your manga. I live in a humid country, and some of my old school books get yellow spots at the edges. I'm afraid of displaying my comics, so I just keep them in a clean tote bag (lol). I would like to know how you and others maintain their collection

For the heavier/thicker books, have you thought about stacking them horizontally? I have some books horizontal because they take up less space that way and are more stable

I used to collect manga growing up but fell off for years. Now that I’m done with school I started my collection back up and things have begun to overflow very quickly lol. I want to start reorganizing my manga collection and I came across your videos during my search for inspiration. My space looks like a hot mess compared to yours lol. With manga collecting do you have any tips to stop manga yellowing ? My sailor moon manga vol 8 has gone a light yellow yet I haven’t picked it up in ages ? Thanks mangatama ! :)
i noticed how on one your series it still has the price sticker on it. I recommend wiping the sticker with alcohol to take it off with no residue. It might take a few tries but it works.
I found your video after watching someone's sailor moon collection and I was curious to see what manga was out since I've been more in webtoons since 2016? My only dilemma with manga volumes is I'm afraid I won't read them but I also currently don't have the space but I have the money now to buy volumes and buy shelving LOL the perks of growing up. I'll see when I start lol 😂 but then I saw the TWICE album and gasped! Taste of Love is the summer album. (*ﾉ・ω・)ﾉ♫

How many meters was the lights of the bookcase?
I used two packs of 50ft lights! In total, it was 30.48 meters :)
