As a pilot, i personally think that air superiority is very important, about 90% of the planes in the sky are attack planes armed with rockets and bombs, rockets can be used to harass crew, but some people have developed a god strat with it, using the rockets to break the boiler wall and destroy the boiler, it only takes 4 salvos from the attack plane or 2 salvos from the heavy attack plane to take down the boiler and the wall covering it. The bombs are mainly used for dive bombing the engines, which if all are taken out (unlikely) , will stop the airship. About the collisions, the devs seemed to ignore the “crash” hitbox on the landing gears, presumably so it can land. However it’s pretty abusable since you can crash into as many enemy planes as you want and not get damaged by it. Another thing I don’t think you mentioned is the fact that gunner bullets seem to completely phase through the allied planes, allowing them to become another frontal machine gun or a pesky rat.
I think that was patched, are you talking about other planes or the plane you are in? The wings do NOT allow you to shoot through them, tail does NOT, and pilots head does NOT. I never tried firing at a teammates plane. Although I think collision is there as sometimes they fly infront of me as im trying to shoot an enemy plane.
@@darkstormww7479 No it wasn't patched, I'm talking about both me and the enemy planes because I've experienced both before with my gaming friend. When you are a gunner (whilst moving) you can plant your gun facing in front of the plane and shoot through the metal holding the two wings together (i can't seem to recall what it was called). And note the fact that whilst you are moving you can aim in a certain spot near the tail and vstabs and, accounting with the laws of motion, make it SEEM like you are actually shooting through the plane.

So glad you're covering this! By the way, I'm 57.4% sure you already played it, but you should try and review Dummies vs Noobs! In short, it's a class-based, fast-paced, movement-heavy, wave-based machine fueled by blood and explosions (btw make sure to turn on gory kill effects while you're in the settings, it makes explosion kills so much more satisfying) and overall makes you feel like a badass. There's plenty of enemy types to deal with, each having their own way of defeat. For example, there's the Infantry. Regular grunts with rifles and grenades and 100 health, pretty easy to kill since they do no damage, on the other hand however, there's a shielder. As the name suggests, they have a shield and also a shotgun. Getting up close to them is death, however if you just shootem 2 or 3 times, you can easily melee them for a quick health refill too! There's also bosses and 3 different gamemodes besides the main one, Siege that I just mentioned. I won't mention anything else since this is becoming a case study on the coolest new game I've found. Anyways, peace and God bless you.
One of the funniest things in this game is the gamepass that lets you paint your planes. Due to dark green and grey being so easy to confuse at a distance, people tell the difference based on the colors. Green has white stripes on the plane and grey does not. But with the gamepass, you can literally erase those stripes and completely blend in with grey. Alternatively, you can add white stripes on your grey planes.
personally the raider class works very well for a crewman role due to weapons you get access to a lot of times i stay as a raider on ship and protect crewmen
This game is so underrated. The first i played it i was shocked, it was genuinely so beautiful for a Roblox game, the music and intense fights were so cinematic it was unreal. I currently am 3 wins away from gettin "Corporal" rank.
So later on as a pilot, I forget what rank but its a pretty early rank you can unlock the flare gun and if you use it after landing on an island it will respawn you and reset your plane cooldown so you dont need to wait to respawn.
@@SkitGaming Then there's no point shooting down an enemy plane over the water no? There's a reason why you stay close to landmass when dogfighting; it's so when you get shot down, you can simply land on one of the islands and use your flare; mitigating the 100+ seconds spawn time.
You take down planes to level up pilot, then buy the rockets to break the enemies boiler walls and then shoot the boiler, every rocket run does around 50%
A way the pilots can help their team is by taking out all the engines with bombs or rockets the engines are located near the runway, this was mentioned but raiders can spawn and you and get in the airship, this is crucial when ur airship is below the enemy airship. Pilots are more useful than you think Edit: if your trying to take out engines I recommend using bombs but that requires more skill, use rockets if your new to piloting and got the money
Also, personally I think Airship Assault deserves a higher score, for it really does innovate quite a bit on the content and mechanics of Zeppelin War. I'd say its a good 7.5/10. Yes the hipfire for guns seems silly, but taking into account, you only ever ADS on your primaries. Planes do need more use. No, its that people don't really know how to use them for rocket hull breking and taking out engines. I feel like it is a bit sow to level up with pilot, and to even get rockets and attack better planes makes exceptionally better than what you can juice out of the default plane. As most players have the normal plane, its difficult for its true potential to shine. I do think smgs need to be buffed tho. lmgs fire too slow, so having lots of crewmen defending primarily against raiders is pivotal to increase firepower. first of all, slightly lower the spread of the smgs. Second, increase the damage a tiny bit for smgs. Third, lmgs need a slight firerate boost. Although they have copius amounts of ammunition, its damage is the same as smgs and has a low firerate, making it a very weak smg with lots of ammo.
I just don't like this game, it feels like it just tries to do too much and doesn't do very good at any of them. The basic airship battles feel so.. meh. They don't really feel like anything is happening and I don't get super into it or have al oad of fun. The other gamemodes feel weak, and that weird beach landing one just feels out of place.
I got an idea to make the airship going through the ravine make sense. Maybe Vauhgrey has artillery and Anti-Air littered all around above the ravine, and I guess the only way to get past was through the ravine, but they could go through other areas but I think this could be an overlooked area by Vauhgrey and Grenland takes advantage of it. 😎
Skit speaking of dead ahead, it had a recent BRM5 style revamp (it became private for a while but came back with more stuff) This includes 3 new game modes, Phoenix, Stronghold, and Flotilla. Phoenix comes with 2 Anti Aircraft destroyers and 1 Massive Aircraft carrier for both teams and victory is only achieved when the enemy’s aircraft carrier is sunk. This one is ok because it takes a rather long time to complete. Stronghold is like the current replacement for Atoll, One team is stuck on defensive towers floating in the sea fending off the non-stop waves off fighters and bombers, this one I like a lot, the feeling you experience seeing 20-35 bombers diving in with the only defense being a wall of flak is something incredible. The third new mode is alright it’s basically just Skirmish but mostly destroyers. Now onto things I liked, the game comes with 2 new factions being Ursa and Navy of the Commonwealth (but to recap Ursa is teamed up with Antaraes, and Orion is teamed up with N.O.T.C.) and a pre-match top down map of the dead ahead world zooming in on where the battle takes place with it’s current year, also ship captains have new voice callouts they can make to alert crewman to things like an enemy warship, aircraft, damage control, or gunners the bearing of an enemy ship which helps a lot if you decide to rush in right out of the gate, lastly I forgot if this was a feature before the shutdown but there is a wins shop featuring things like higher zoom binoculars and cool unique uniforms for higher amounts of wins. Things I didn’t like on the other hand is that there is a new MASSIVE hacker problem, they join the game and bombard ships with flak to soften them up or just flat destroy them, the anti-cheat isn’t helping much as it’s basically a post-it note on a bulletin board in the mess hall saying “DON’T CHEAT”. I may be looking at this through dark tinted goggles because players tend to vote kick probable burner accounts that have the name of someone’s cat walking on their keyboard, I am no exception to this because I made my name at a young age.
I’ve played stronghold and every time there’s a huge wave of bombers say 30-20 EVERYONE DIES BUT 1 BOMBER I don’t know hot the defensive team does it but they got the most perfect aim on earth
@@CASA-dy4vswell I mean when you have a 20mm bullet fired from a big as sh mounted gun that is supposed kill aircraft and there is like 20-30 aircraft like you said, not much need to aim.
My biggest problem with the game is how repetitive it is while having little to no interaction with the exact same object. In previous games (Zeppeline battles and wars) basically the entire airship was destructable, meaning you can disable a cannon either by destroying it directly, destroying the ammo supply or by destroying the floor. Meanwhile here destructability of the airship is restricted to it's key components and limited wall destruction (you can't completely remove them, but rather make a large permanent hole, to the point it's basically destroyed). No fires spreading, or common paths being destroyed requireing finding another way around. On a plus side: separating the ones who board the enemy and the ones who pilot is a good design decision, but the pilot gameplay results in feeling rather empty as there is still not enough variation in terms of aircraft plus it's so separated from the main gameplay (the airship). Altitude of the airship actually matters now! By being below the enemy, you reduce their cannon fire while retaining yours, but in turn you are more suseptable to raiders.
I was literally thinking of the same thing as Atoll before, here is some similarities: It is the king of the hill game mode (was for dead ahead), mortars replace the secondary main howitzer, instead of a landing ship dock, they get a floating runway with a respawnable transport airship and planes, it also spawn 2 medium bombers AND ONLY 2 after a certain amount of time, these bombers are equipped more bombs and has bomb sights simular to battlefield 1, the island it self has anti air. BTW dead ahead Atoll is outdated. I also like how the planes come from sky like if their sent from the air force.
I think planes are most important during Control. Air superiority is almost essential for capturing and securing the fort, and when the bombers spawn, it can be chaos for those who are in possession of the fort, as bombers can rain hell on you (though the mortars make the bomber look like child's play). That being said, planes are also useful for taking out the mortars (which I have just addressed), which can heavily damage the enemy teams chances for taking the fort, as it stops one of their main sources for quickly sending raider reinforcements, and also the fact that it literally turns the fort into the Oppenheimer experience, if the man on the mortar knows where to shoot (And they almost always do)
As a pilot myself, I see myself useful when taking out heavy guns and people on the main deck as well as immobilising the enemy airship by taking out the 6 engines to leave the raiders to focus on the interior. Shooting down other planes is secondary for me
my major issue with this game is the piloting plane controls, I use to mouse and it way better than using WASD for me, they should add it a feature to use either WASD or mouse, if there that feature already, I don't care.
There actually is a way for that, you can hold right click while flying a plane to aim down your sight AND fly the plane using your mouse Edit: i recommend you increase mouse sensitivity when you do that though since your sensitivity is lowered while aiming
Sorry to say, but the developers aren't planning on removing the authentic aircraft controls any time soon. But as stated prior, pressing M2 allows you to use mouse control and fine tune your aim.
I would say it does innovate Zeppelin Fighting on Roblox because it has quite a lot more features than Zeppelin Wars, having a better visual quality, better sounds, better models, more abilities such as being able to repair the ship (That is not possible on Zeppelin Wars), having no p2w and overall a good design despite it being kinda new. Yes the gunplay is a bit weird and on third person its offset but it still has a lot more to offer than zeppelin wars and can only be compared by the fact that it's about a zeppelin battle
pilots in the isle game mode are… to put it lightly, hell themselves, the kill streaks they get, minimum at 10 with their bombs and firecracker ammo. THERE ARE SO MANY BOMBS, THEY ARE SPAWN CAMPING WITH THEM
What you said about the heavy cannons is true, I once was on a server where my team ( Grenland ) was losing to Vaughray raiders and we even had our resource generator destroyed so we all fired at the boiler room walls and managed to destroy their boilers so we won in the end
Good video as always! If you read this comment; you should play a game called "The Troubles" which is an fps game based on the actual real life event. 😁
airship assault is genuinely the most fun game on the platform, even over something like dead ahead or centaura (which i personally love). also MESSER RED SQUADRON ON TOP BABYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
Pilots are very important if you ask me. They can bomb walls and engines, destroy enemy tanks and ships, and drop off raiders. You can't win a single Control match without destroying the enemy mortars with bombers first. You can also use rockets to create perma holes for raiders. They're very important when you need a quick glide without having to journey to the runway first.
I think that securing air security as a pilot is more valuable then the video makes it out to be, simply because if your planes are swarming the enemy then you get instant access to the enemy as a raider, nothing is worse then just waiting in the spawn screen because all the lvl 0 pilots crashed and gave up while your airship is miles away
3:07 One server I was in had 2 really good pilots who single handedly destroyed both boilers each round, and after 30 mins everyone was doing everything in their power to protect them
Pilots are quite useful, for many reasons: -On some maps, shooting bombers is very useful, when a bomber has 9 bombs -Spawn platforms. On a standard battle, planes are great for jumping of and attacking a ship as a raider. -Dive bombers. Destroying troops or equipment, such as bombing the raider spawn on ambush is very effective, or destroying mortars, or engines -Air superiority, ie stopping the enemy from doing all the above -Rockets. Standard planes have 6, Sea Storms have 9, wich are very useful in destroying walls in standard battles -Killing enemy raiders when their about to jump off their airship to get to yours -Piloting Bombers, as a good bomber can change a game -Moving raiders early game on a standard match before the airships get close -Defending transport airships This was written by a lvl 25 pilot.
In a control match, I saw someone just barely land a bomber in the fort area, and use it as a spawn point. Same with Ambush. I was on the Grenland team and some guys landed a plane behind and enemy platform and just spawn camped them.
I think You should revisit this game, they added a new mode called Isle, which introduces a new country and new weapons! (Isle is sort of a D-Day-like gamemode where you have to capture certain points) they also added tanks and ground vehicles in isle and control
you can circle the enemy airships lower decks with a plane, and your gunner can just eliminate tons of crew. i did that once with another guy, and they could NOT use the upper deck cannons because they would just get killed
You forgot to mention that you can use the shovel to make fortifications on the control map. You need to get kills to get points, and you use the points to make fortifications. Different fortifications have different costs. For example, the sand bags cost only 5 points, but the medical tent costs 15.
btw for control the best thing to do is (of course) capture the island. after that take care of the mini blimps by getting shot by a canon in the air, pull out your glider use it and go into the blimp. after that kill the pilot and the other enemies on the blimp to be able to put the dynamite on the boiler and we have recreated you know wich one incident
i have a ton of fun with this game, and the guns are meant to be close quarters which is why they fell abd a lot of the time and why control feels so abd to play, as no guns are balanced around it
Basically the way plane collisions work is that whoever touches the enemy tail dies. This means that if you go over a plane, you'll win the collision, and if you go under it, well... you go under. So to speak.
Also, once I was playing Raider and I had to defend the airship because the crewmembers didn't have the mental capacity to see a bomb and think "hey I should defuse that"
So like others have said in a way. The reason that you are crashing and enemies aren’t are because your below them. When you are below you get stomped by the wheels that don’t really have an ability to crash
The tail gun on any plane is so ass it might as well not be there. It barely dents the enemy plane and a few seconds of sustained fire will overheat it and give your enemy an easy chance to shoot down your plane. Def needs a buff and it feels like it was designed to be a jumping off point for raiders
You should play a game called "Empire Clash" the game is a Rts game in the Napoleonic era. There are many classes serving their own purposes to winning the game. There are 4 different clans, RedCliff Republic, Korblox Kingdom, Overseer Commune and Empyrean Empire, the clans main goal is to hold 10 territories to win. Its a really fun game that you should check out!
thanks for insulting the class that allows boarders to board, bomb the engines, bomb the turrets, bomb the pillars, rocket the engines, rocket the pillars, rocket the turrets, then land and be fully rearmed within 20 seconds and do that all again
personally, i believe that the game is good with its only real problems being the lack of melee, the lack of story, the lack of game modes, and finally the lack of a way to cycle out your directives (some are just annoying). i do also believe that one specific thing in AA is kinda stupid but its a hat for redamura (japan). in the new game mode, isle, pilots are now much more useful and actually are needed for many things such as point clearing, transportation, and tank busting. the fact that fire is so effective on isle makes pilots with the fire rockets very good for use along with the fact that only planes can get close enough to take out the tanks one on one because of the driver LMG and the turret cannon being able to take out large amounts of players with ease. pilots are also good for getting raiders onto enemy crew ships on control, allowing your ally to take control and prevent the enemy team from using the crewship.
if you like better guns i think you should try revamped its a revamped neighbourhood wars also turn on all the gore and blood settings. Side note you gotta spend robux to play the game.
Pilot can be usefull if the pilot have good aim and have experienced shooting moving glider. They can be use to disturb glider charging to your zeppelin. Also it can act as a bait for enemy machine gun in order to give your team glider a clear path
The best type of pilot is the ones who have played long enough that they are just aerial aces. Literally just cannot be shot down but can also load up the enemy ship with rockets so I can actually be useful to my team. Whenever I have a game with aircraft I first try to find the closest thing to a strike fighter. Then I realise that a lot of people are trash with aircraft so I go for air superiority.
when it comes to LMGs and Shotguns not doing their jobs, it depends on what versions you're using. if you are using the michel gun, it's three words: spray and pray the most powerful shotgun is the Coach Gun, basically the DB shotgun except it's way more OP and does it's job as a shotgun
My favorite thing to do as a crewman is becoming thw airship Captain especially with a crew that listens to your orders because I remembered one game I took over the captain position because the the previous captain was kick out and the airship was heavily damaged but I took over and commanded the crew with the most impossible odds we won
pilot is the preferred method of removing: -stinky little crewman who use the deck AA -the occasional parachute -an engine -other planes -terrified crewman on deck -annoying metal wall they call the "hull" will say that the basic biplane is the only viable plane because the bomber is rare, the fighters have no ordnance/tailgunner, and the seafury or whatever it's called is too expensive i feel like pilots get a bad rep because too many pilots are really bad and are basically flying bricks (how do you even crash on the runway)
I feel like pilots are a little more useful in the control game mode, since you can bomb the mortars, forcing the enemy to the transport airship and plane, which once again can be stopped or taken down by pilots.
What I love about this game is how satisfying and rewarding it feels to win/kill someone, that's what kept me staying and occupied, and the progression system is actually gold, you can get ok weapons pretty quickly but ur still not OP yet, and even if you do get op weapons it's still possible for newer players to kill you, it may not seem balanced but it is actually VERY balanced.
It seems like every cool game on ROBLOX is PC exclusive. As an xbox player, i was pleasantly surprised to have access to Airship Assault. I can confidently say it's my favorite game on ROBLOX.
I think the main issues with why people dont play crewman class is: 1) Lack of gadgets (trusty wrench is the only one) 2) Bullshit bolt action rifle which CAN'T ONESHOT IN HEAD (yes, you get it right, it can't). Raiders have bolt action rifle as a standart too, HOWEVER they can select shotgun at the very start Sad that people just go for the SMG, even though LMGs can be fun enough, even in attack (Michael Gun my beloved)
I played Airship assault for a good chunk of time before I stopped playing it all together, maybe the issue is fixed but even when I turn the graphics down the lag makes the game unplayable at times which upsets me because this game has a lot of promise.
I agree with a lot of the points here, but the gunplay isn't as bad as he makes it look. It doesn't take multiple seconds to take someone down with an LMG, at most 2. Also, the islands are useful for pilots to land in when the plane goes down so they can use the flare gun.
as a pilot main I say yes most are useless, but I saw how effective rockets were when I was a crew occasionally. I heavy spammed it, getting objectives and, when I saw them, shooting down planes with rockets, also for some reason Pilot impossible always works great, the enemy crew think you are a less dmg output but if you are good at land battles u can wreck without taking too much fire, I got 22 kills in one pilot life.
If your brain is like mine and is too primitive to get the most out of this game, there is a simpler one called zeppelin wars. Basically a scaler down version
Tip: if possible destroy all the enemy engines and position the lower deck gun holes just above the runway then, you can have infinite access to the enemy airship.

I've played and it's a masterpiece. Resources and adapting to survive enemies. Plus, just tryna survive until the end.
Wait, GORY KILL EFFECTS?! I've been playing dummies vs noobs for about 1 month now and im level 16, And i've never knew about that!
im a ball sweat goggler
alr cool
uhh ok sure

One of the funniest things in this game is the gamepass that lets you paint your planes. Due to dark green and grey being so easy to confuse at a distance, people tell the difference based on the colors. Green has white stripes on the plane and grey does not. But with the gamepass, you can literally erase those stripes and completely blend in with grey. Alternatively, you can add white stripes on your grey planes.
personally the raider class works very well for a crewman role due to weapons you get access to
a lot of times i stay as a raider on ship and protect crewmen
Congrates you learned how to play Marine airmen. Best name i could come up with.
Yea but it sucks that you can’t use it while parachuting
@@SkitGaming True but that might be overpowered if you can just bail out and get a free life anywhere with no consequence for dying
@@SkitGaming Then there's no point shooting down an enemy plane over the water no? There's a reason why you stay close to landmass when dogfighting; it's so when you get shot down, you can simply land on one of the islands and use your flare; mitigating the 100+ seconds spawn time.
@@SkitGamingSkit, I'm going to be honest I feel that you did some poor journalism describing the effectiveness of pilots..
well, you dont need it if you can actually fly for 150 seconds ;), still I have it so I can jump if I didn't notice a enemy flak camping runway
You take down planes to level up pilot, then buy the rockets to break the enemies boiler walls and then shoot the boiler, every rocket run does around 50%
if you can hit, im still trying to figure out when best time is to fire, I hit most but I miss about 1 every salvo becasue I open up too late
Ngl imo the dogfighting was very bad in the beginning but i got used to it AFTER getting rockets just learn to bomb
A way the pilots can help their team is by taking out all the engines with bombs or rockets the engines are located near the runway, this was mentioned but raiders can spawn and you and get in the airship, this is crucial when ur airship is below the enemy airship. Pilots are more useful than you think
Edit: if your trying to take out engines I recommend using bombs but that requires more skill, use rockets if your new to piloting and got the money
Although they have copius amounts of ammunition, its damage is the same as smgs and has a low firerate, making it a very weak smg with lots of ammo.
ye but lmg damage goes brr, I shot down a plane from deck, no one else got assist.
There will be fire spread eventually
Tank Fish is NOW releasing an Airship Assault video!
guess my predetion feeling true
Try playing and reviewing Dummies vs Noobs. It’s one of the most replayable and hardest game one Roblox
I also like how the planes come from sky like if their sent from the air force.
they honestly ruined that game in the update after hydrus/ursa
@@darkstormww7479kay
Shooting down other planes is secondary for me
And more fun bc more dopamine when 7 collateral with big bomb
love this game but
I know tankfish is gonna do a video right after
Its no longer coincidences, I wanna see these two channels fight 😂
Im betting 10 bonds tankfish does vauhgrey first
@@nickangelosuson2454he did
my major issue with this game is the piloting plane controls, I use to mouse and it way better than using WASD for me, they should add it a feature to use either WASD or mouse, if there that feature already, I don't care.
There actually is a way for that, you can hold right click while flying a plane to aim down your sight AND fly the plane using your mouse
Edit: i recommend you increase mouse sensitivity when you do that though since your sensitivity is lowered while aiming
Sorry to say, but the developers aren't planning on removing the authentic aircraft controls any time soon. But as stated prior, pressing M2 allows you to use mouse control and fine tune your aim.
@@vaele723 ugh, reminds me of the dead ahead devs, wasd controls suck
I would say it does innovate Zeppelin Fighting on Roblox because it has quite a lot more features than Zeppelin Wars, having a better visual quality, better sounds, better models, more abilities such as being able to repair the ship (That is not possible on Zeppelin Wars), having no p2w and overall a good design despite it being kinda new. Yes the gunplay is a bit weird and on third person its offset but it still has a lot more to offer than zeppelin wars and can only be compared by the fact that it's about a zeppelin battle
1:06 was a nostalia trip. I read the whope trilogy in middle school and loved it! It explains why I love airships/zeppelins so much.
I played this game and unless theres a team captain it turns into a roleplay game
pilots in the isle game mode are… to put it lightly, hell themselves, the kill streaks they get, minimum at 10 with their bombs and firecracker ammo. THERE ARE SO MANY BOMBS, THEY ARE SPAWN CAMPING WITH THEM
Unpopular opinion: Add recoil rather than accuracy I cant trust to rng
i agree
the new assault gamemode has invigorated my love for this game, its a ton of fun
I love running around on an airship while everyone complains that nobody's repairing the ship (they're all raider)
Hello skit.
Thank you for noticing me in your best infantry class vid :D
airship assault is genuinely the most fun game on the platform, even over something like dead ahead or centaura (which i personally love).
also MESSER RED SQUADRON ON TOP BABYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
Pilots are very important if you ask me.
They can bomb walls and engines, destroy enemy tanks and ships, and drop off raiders.
You can't win a single Control match without destroying the enemy mortars with bombers first.
You can also use rockets to create perma holes for raiders.
They're very important when you need a quick glide without having to journey to the runway first.
Public bathroom simulator. SEARCH IT UP.
3:07 One server I was in had 2 really good pilots who single handedly destroyed both boilers each round, and after 30 mins everyone was doing everything in their power to protect them
a way to fix the problem of smgs and lmgs being inaccurate is to crouch and aim down sights
Pilots are quite useful, for many reasons:
-On some maps, shooting bombers is very useful, when a bomber has 9 bombs
-Spawn platforms. On a standard battle, planes are great for jumping of and attacking a ship as a raider.
-Dive bombers. Destroying troops or equipment, such as bombing the raider spawn on ambush is very effective, or destroying mortars, or engines
-Air superiority, ie stopping the enemy from doing all the above
-Rockets. Standard planes have 6, Sea Storms have 9, wich are very useful in destroying walls in standard battles
-Killing enemy raiders when their about to jump off their airship to get to yours
-Piloting Bombers, as a good bomber can change a game
-Moving raiders early game on a standard match before the airships get close
-Defending transport airships
This was written by a lvl 25 pilot.
I was really excited for this game when it was about to realise just realize that my potato can't handle it
In a control match, I saw someone just barely land a bomber in the fort area, and use it as a spawn point. Same with Ambush. I was on the Grenland team and some guys landed a plane behind and enemy platform and just spawn camped them.
You should mention the assault map in the snow, the one with watchtowers with additional cannons, for that reason.
I do play Zeppalin wars.
But I would play Airship Assault if my PC gets an upgrade.
What's crazy is that.... It's a godamn BLIMP!!!... one 50 BMG is more than enough to cause an explosion...
For example, the sand bags cost only 5 points, but the medical tent costs 15.
btw for control the best thing to do is (of course) capture the island. after that take care of the mini blimps by getting shot by a canon in the air, pull out your glider use it and go into the blimp. after that kill the pilot and the other enemies on the blimp to be able to put the dynamite on the boiler and we have recreated you know wich one incident
i have a ton of fun with this game, and the guns are meant to be close quarters which is why they fell abd a lot of the time and why control feels so abd to play, as no guns are balanced around it
It’s good to see a modern take on zeppelin wars
Sorry, you know what I meant
Its a really fun game that you should check out!
thanks for insulting the class that allows boarders to board, bomb the engines, bomb the turrets, bomb the pillars, rocket the engines, rocket the pillars, rocket the turrets, then land and be fully rearmed within 20 seconds and do that all again
plus biplanes are insane anti-person gun platforms, and they can very easily take out turrets in the canyon mode
Skit, are you going to review a game called Empire Clash? I think it's fun.
personally, i believe that the game is good with its only real problems being the lack of melee, the lack of story, the lack of game modes, and finally the lack of a way to cycle out your directives (some are just annoying). i do also believe that one specific thing in AA is kinda stupid but its a hat for redamura (japan). in the new game mode, isle, pilots are now much more useful and actually are needed for many things such as point clearing, transportation, and tank busting. the fact that fire is so effective on isle makes pilots with the fire rockets very good for use along with the fact that only planes can get close enough to take out the tanks one on one because of the driver LMG and the turret cannon being able to take out large amounts of players with ease. pilots are also good for getting raiders onto enemy crew ships on control, allowing your ally to take control and prevent the enemy team from using the crewship.
if you like better guns i think you should try revamped its a revamped neighbourhood wars also turn on all the gore and blood settings.
Side note you gotta spend robux to play the game.
Just saying that the game is very early in development and only recently came out.
It make pilot’s day worst, if you die depending on how long you were in the air, there is a timer to when you can play as it again
With the way you talk about these games, I feel like you'd love hell let loose. Sure it's not roblox but still, it's something worth bearing in mind
mgs are bad because mgs were underdeveloped in the 1910s
i've been loving this game but i think we can agree that the leveling system is kinda painfull. oh and shotguns suck
Pilot can be usefull if the pilot have good aim and have experienced shooting moving glider. They can be use to disturb glider charging to your zeppelin. Also it can act as a bait for enemy machine gun in order to give your team glider a clear path
1:02 man I remember reading those in middle school, they were the best books.
The best type of pilot is the ones who have played long enough that they are just aerial aces. Literally just cannot be shot down but can also load up the enemy ship with rockets so I can actually be useful to my team.
Whenever I have a game with aircraft I first try to find the closest thing to a strike fighter. Then I realise that a lot of people are trash with aircraft so I go for air superiority.
when it comes to LMGs and Shotguns not doing their jobs, it depends on what versions you're using. if you are using the michel gun, it's three words: spray and pray
the most powerful shotgun is the Coach Gun, basically the DB shotgun except it's way more OP and does it's job as a shotgun
Skit, I'm not sure if you've played Entry Point, but this would be an excellent game for your channel.
My favorite thing to do as a crewman is becoming thw airship Captain especially with a crew that listens to your orders because I remembered one game I took over the captain position because the the previous captain was kick out and the airship was heavily damaged but I took over and commanded the crew with the most impossible odds we won
5:13 glad this thing is still mentioned,
Can you do star scape though?
pilot is the preferred method of removing:
-stinky little crewman who use the deck AA
-the occasional parachute
-an engine
-other planes
-terrified crewman on deck
-annoying metal wall they call the "hull"
will say that the basic biplane is the only viable plane because the bomber is rare, the fighters have no ordnance/tailgunner, and the seafury or whatever it's called is too expensive
i feel like pilots get a bad rep because too many pilots are really bad and are basically flying bricks (how do you even crash on the runway)
As a Pilot main.
You are correct with your statement.
I’m still going to rocket the engines tho-
I feel like pilots are a little more useful in the control game mode, since you can bomb the mortars, forcing the enemy to the transport airship and plane, which once again can be stopped or taken down by pilots.
W video bro keep up the good work
It seems like every cool game on ROBLOX is PC exclusive. As an xbox player, i was pleasantly surprised to have access to Airship Assault. I can confidently say it's my favorite game on ROBLOX.
Ive been captain in this game four times.
All four times,my main tactic was ramming speed.
*all four times,i won.*
I think the main issues with why people dont play crewman class is:
1) Lack of gadgets (trusty wrench is the only one)
2) Bullshit bolt action rifle which CAN'T ONESHOT IN HEAD (yes, you get it right, it can't). Raiders have bolt action rifle as a standart too, HOWEVER they can select shotgun at the very start
Sad that people just go for the SMG, even though LMGs can be fun enough, even in attack (Michael Gun my beloved)
I played Airship assault for a good chunk of time before I stopped playing it all together, maybe the issue is fixed but even when I turn the graphics down the lag makes the game unplayable at times which upsets me because this game has a lot of promise.
6:30 the airship has a max height of 1150 ASL, This means it cant cross certain mountains, who knows, this might be a tall version of the alps.
I just love playing as a pilot and outmaneuvering enemy planes whilst shredding them. Just satisfying.
The pilot bomb and machine gun can destroy enemy engines ( propellers ) in which if all engines is destroyed the airship will be immobilized
Great vid as usual 11/10
Skit can you review ballista ?
I love the mission where you use the motors its just you goofing around
Dam, now we neee zep wars review after this
We need a re-review
And now in airship assault there's another playable faction in one mode which is redamuran
damn, I was like 9 years old playing this game and I was pissed when I found out the original game died not knowing about the new ones
The only grudge I got against this game is how difficult it is to steer the planes
It's not even difficult bruh I just started the game yesterday and the first time I got into the plane I flew perfectly.
it's it's not difficult, it is certainly janky@@DARKAURA999.
I wish they'd add normal mouse controls without zooming in.
