2."there are moments in your life that you are shy but there are moments in your life that you are not, so be careful what you believe about yourself..."

I started in a blue collar position right after military discharge at 21 years old. I soon realized that making a difference in people’s lives would create a platform for my own success. I expanded and developed this philosophy, including in the recipe, the ability to speak well and confidently. Fast forward to today…. I own 5 very profitable companies. 3 that I am selling and two that I will keep to assure that my life’s plan of making a difference will continue through out my retirement years. In my continuing focus I’ve always included experts such as Dr Grace Lee to be part of my success plan. At 77 years old now I still live by this mantra “anything worth doing is worth hiring someone to do it”. This has made me wealthy in all forms. Thank you Dr Lee.

Practice makes permanent. That's a great meaning of practice.

I LOVE the advice of practicing self-governance and NOT scripts. This is what has been letting me down. I draft pages and pages of script to remember and inevitably I forgot the majority of it because I have fear and anxiety about remembering. Also, if there is a question which was not on my script, it causes me huge anxiety! It would be good to know practical steps to practice SELF-GOVERNANCE!!

Thanks Dr Lee. This video is really helpful, I missed my promotion interview and one of the feedback was my lack of confidence on presentations.

You need practise and a mock interview will boost your confidence.

I really liked these concepts, some of them I was applying intuitively until now. Hearing about linking confidence to positive results is some of the best advice I've heard. And the practice that makes it permanent is disruptive. Thanks.

Mastering Self-Governance is being confidence about a particular subject and or business, I guess and I guess the key 🔑 is to have 100 percent knowledge of a particular presentation business subject. Any knowledge of the presenting subject, then less confidence when presenting the subject matter and ideas to a group of individuals. Interesting and confident video, Dr. Grace. I could be wrong, not a professional here, but once again if the knowledge is there one could present even without confidence because the self-governance will be there due to all the knowledge of the business subject matter that one could present even without a script and or any prompts and furthermore one could confidently answer questions from the audience as long as the audience stays within the subject matter of the subject being presented, otherwise one must be able to confidently avoid the out of subject question by answering in such a way that guides the audience back to the main subject of the presentation without arguing or questioning the out-topic subject any further and instead maybe answering another question from the audience that relates to the topic being presented. 😊😺🥰✨💎

Thank you Dr. Grace Lee. This is new for me, pratice makes permanent. Sudently I agree with this idea. Being permanent is better than hoping for perfection. As you said it becomes your mastery.

You have to know what you’re talking about to speak confidently 😊. Unless you’re a super LIAR like Trump😊. Because people know themselves when they really don’t know for sure what they’re talking about, or at least the ones with integrity do
