It's important to remember that our skin chemistry plays a huge part and how long fragrances last. My skin's pretty dry so out of the shower after using a good moisturizing body wash I will even apply something like l a skin moisturizer and plus I try to drink plenty of water as well. So performance varies greatly for person to person. However even on sale The price to perform its ratio on the EDT is lacking. At least it is for me I recently bought a decant of the EDT and it really doesn't last all that long it doesn't have very much staying power whatsoever and it becomes a skin scent on me within about 45 minutes. I do notice that it stays on your skin for 6 or 8 hours but you have to bury your nose and it's a smell it. So I'm glad I bought a decant of this before even buying this stuff even on sale. The EDP however is nuclear in performance. I will probably pick up the intense

An EDP can be something like 15%-20% fragrance oil content, so what they call the EDP might have 15% and the Le Parfum might be 20%. That can make quite a difference while still being classed as an EDP.
My coworker wears them. They’re weird and not impressive to me. And they’re not cheap at all! You’re better off buying real fragrances from discounters
Don’t sleep on YSL Y Live, next to the new intense flanker this is my favourite one and my go-to gym scent. It’s a shame it’s now discontinued. Need to buy myself (no pun intended) a second bottle.
I understand ysl y line is all blue fragrance but is Fraiche really blue fragrance? I tried in the store but couldn't smell the ambroxan myself (maybe i was just overwelmed by other scents.) Can anyone tell?
Thought I'd found my summer and winter signature scents in Y live and code absolu and then they both got axed. Much prefer Y live to my sample of Y edp.
Do not blind buy. I just tested most of the YSL line at the store, and was mucho disappointed. The Y EDP in particular was that modern apple generic scent, and the other notes weren’t enough to sell it. So happy that I did not blind buy.
You crazy bro lol Y edp is awesome. I'm about through my full bottle of it after 2 yrs. Was thinking going edp intense or le parfum to change it up. I agree though, any $80+ frag is worth a 5-7$ sample first.
I know they hype on this one is crazy, so I’m sure other noses have a different sense about it. I may go back and try it on my wrist at some point, but I am not expecting much since I have a very picky nose (no pun intended)

It makes a statement but in a blue showergel way thats kind of sharp and crisp in the top notes drying down to some showergel vibes. If it wasnt beast mode i dont think it would have been very successful imo. Its still one of my few designer frags i can put on 3-5 sprays and it still be projecting hard 4 hours later. Truth be told ive been wearing dylan blue and sauvage edp quite a bit more than Y edp now adays. Y EDP was one of my first frags 2 yrs ago
Y is there so many.. its actually ridiculous, i didnt really like the original edt but after seeing the edp beat dylan blue in street battles i thought id sample it.. well.. a rabbit hole within rabbit holes.. its stressful man.. they have no mercy, atleast dylan blue just has one lol
I agree with the most of this. I have both YSL Y edp & le parfum. & I must say they are both a masterpiece. But when it comes to compliments from ladies my opinion. Le parfum is just a compliment powerhouse it's puts the after burners on. & I get so many from ladies out & about. Again they both smell so good & I deeply love both, but when I wear le parfum I know I am the best smelling guy in the room 👀😅
I used to think the new batches are weak until my colleagues at job complimented me after 6 hours when I enter their office and they were like - wow you smell great.

I wouldn’t base a fragrance off performance unless I’m only getting a few hours. If it can last an 8 hour shift then I’m satisfied. Worry more about the scent itself.

The EDP is too sweet for me. I like the EDP Intense during the week and Le Parfum for weekends.

out of all of them, i personally enjoy the standard edp the most, got mine for a great deal as well (45€ for 60ml)

Start with any of the edps imo. Og if u like sweet, intense if u prefer aromatic and less sharp.
Le parfum if u like the sweetness in the og edp but less fresh and more dense/creamy
