VLOG: Our First Hollywoodbets Durban July (Fun Was Had!)

- It's our first Hollywoodbets Durban July and we're so excited!
We flew down to Durban and met up with our new-found
friends Lasizwe, Sarah Langa, Nadia Jaftha, Xavier Haupt, Chad Jones and KLA, to name a few.
The Capital Zimbali was our home for a couple of days and what a splendid time we had at the resort. From luxury villas, ensuite apartments, Mangwanani Signature Spa, Fireroom restaurant and Gin Academy.
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at the Hollywoodbets VIP Welcome Soiree which was hosted at the newly launched Radisson Blu Hotel Durban Umhlanga. This was the perfect pre party to prepare us for race day.
Finally we arrived Hollywoodbets Greyville Racecourse on Saturday, 2 July 2022 for the main event. The racecourse was full of life and the vibe was spectacular. From trendy fashion outfits, delicious food, to beautifully designed marquees. The Hollywoodbets Durban July was truly a phenomenal experience. We will be back again in 2023!
A special thank you to Tourism KwaZulu-Natal for accommodating us and spoiling us on various cool adventures around Durban.

Guys do you know why there is no zoo in Durban...
Because the zoo is surrounding us all the time 24/7. The monkeys also visit you when you're in hospital. I swear this is a jungle. There was a monkey inside my house and it was waiting for me in the hallway. I came out the kitchen, saw it look at me, I screamed and ran into the other room and locked myself in. After one hour I had the courage to leave the room. Found my bread gone and finger marks everywhere.
My partner and I argue about why the house is stuffy when he comes home. I say you don't know what it's like having to deal with these monkeys that are ready to fight you in your own house. They come in like criminals and you run away. I don't want to risk the baby having to deal with an aggressive monkey. Anyway he gets all the air he needs with the job he has travelling everywhere, so no safety first
