Hey, I was looking forward to joining Trent University for the 2021 fall intake. I just wanted to get your insights on racism as I read a few reviews online that international students have a hard time there.
Bruh, this is so confusing for a UK person clicking on this vid lolll. Nottingham Trent University is a uni in the the UK as well as Peterborough also being a place in the UK... :P
Benjamin Colligan haha I see where the confusion came from, but from what I can see Nottingham Trent University is not typically shortened to just Trent. I had no idea Peterborough was also in the UK though!! I think I will add something about Canada in the title :-))

god american university is so different from universities in the UK. All the “ice breakers” are called freshers, and it’s just a two week non stop party going to clubs and getting drunk 😂. i guess the drinking age in america is 21 whereas it’s 18 in the UK so it can’t really happen 😂😂 lovely campus though !
How old were you when you got into university, cuz I’m graduating from high school next year and I’m gonna be 16 , is it fine being in university at 16? Like are there a lot of people there that are 16???

I live in Canada actually! but yes, the drinking age is 19 here and it’s still limiting :’)

I was 17 turning 18 in October. Tbh most first years will be 18-19 but if you’re mature for your age it shouldn’t really be an issue
