I find it every time again amazed that you find the right location.
Through your visits the usefulness of history remains.

I can't believe how great those metal doors still work! They don't even need oiling.

I really enjoy watching these videos. You two are like an old married couple. Great entertainment, I binged watched all ( most ) of your videos the other day. Keep up the good work. I think the videos are better with just you two. Love your channel 👍

Fascinating as always, gents. I'm watching this at work, and was enjoying watching you get on top of the bunker, when my oppo came in, scrounging teabags. It was about the 19:00 mark on your video when he came in. He looked at my screen, and said: "Is that Fidel Castro climbing on to a roof?" He was, of course, referring to Chris. The likeness, when he wears that cap, is uncanny, to be honest. There was an ROC post near a place called Easton Bavents. I use the word 'was' definitively, as it was located on the clifftop. It is now in the sea, having been undermined by sea action, until it tumbled down the cliff. It's definitely frightening how fast the sea is eating into this corner of Britain. There is no solid bedrock here, only clays, chalk, gravel, and a fossiliferous layer of shells called, laughingly, 'Red Crag'. It's so friable, you can crumble it like an OXO cube. Most of East Anglia is formed of sediments left after the glaciers retreated at the end of the Ice Age. Further west, are 'The Sandlings', and north, the ground is dark and peaty, great for agriculture, as is most of the region. I've lived here all my life, give or take a few years, and, like a lot of people, find the stretch of coast that runs north from Felixstowe up to, and including Lowestoft, beautiful, but at the same time, oddly sinister. I don't know why, maybe you have to live here to notice it, but there is definitely something - it's even mentioned in passing in an old AA guidebook to the region. But if there's something interesting right on the coast here you want to see - I'd visit it soon, as there is a good chance it'll have gone by the next time you visit. Try East Lane, Bawdsey, where the gun emplacement is actually holding the coast together here, and there's a great B.O.P. for the fort, and a circular WW1 pillbox. You ought to try to visit Orfordness, which was probably the nearest to an 'Area 51' that the UK ever had. It's a weird site that you'll love. History was made there. And that's no lie. Cheers!

Just a typical Saturday morning...breakfast, tea, and another great IKS adventure! You guys should think about investing in climbing shoes, rope and harnesses (and training on how to use them) for any sites that require climbing. It would make it way easier and safer for you. Thanks for sharing!

Also guys you are in the county of Suffolk not Norfolk. a few miles north of your position is an amazing underground facility . Hopton Radar site. privately owned worth asking to explore id love to see inside! all the best.

    Hello Chaps,
Would be awesome if you could tour down in the Westcountry, down in Cornwall the National Trust has a ROC post that has been restored although its only open on certain days, I am sure they would do a permission visit if you asked nicely. Also you should check out RAF Harrowbeer at Yelverton, its a massive site, not much remains now but lots of bits of concrete and you can still see where the runway used to be and the foundations of the buildings, they also have some shelters here, again sealed up with metal grates, they open these on occasion once again I am sure you can secure a permission visit. Also there are plenty of ROC posts down here, I would love to go down my local one at Plympton but I lack the ball sacks as its on private land. If you come down this way I'd highly recommend hooking up with the Carbis Bay Crew and doing a meet up with them and maybe a joint video, they are awesome and do lots of interesting stuff thats right up your street and they have the local knowledge.
    Best Regards,
    Rob

Me and the boy also cycled to the site of the Lowestoft ROC the hatch is gone and filled but the monitoring room still exists intact underground. We going back with metal detector to try locate shaft and possibly dig out. As digging is our exercise at this time lol. If we get anywhere I will let you know!

    UPDATE
I was incorrect in my previous comment.
The site is still ok and has not gone down the cliff. It was a challenge to get to. I had to go down on the beach then back up some steps put there by a holiday camp. Once at the top of the stairs I was approached by a man from the camp who told me I wasn’t allowed to be there. I kindly told him his steps are built on public land and I am accessing a public footpath. This sent him on his way and on we went to the good stuff. There are other buildings on the beach which I mistook for the radar station
