This whole gig is nuts. Watch how at the start everyone is sittin at their tables and all. After a few songs the tables are gone and everyone is dancing. This is pure joy.
It’s got so much heart. You can feel the song. Electric performance.

This is great. Fats Domino is one of the most under-appreciated 50s artists, and he put a lot of soul into what he was doing. But try not to criticise modern pop music.

@@StephB1970 I see what you mean. However, just because a person relys on computers to record and polish their sound doesn't make them worse musicains. Imagine if all the arists of today kept using the old technology of the 50s - and some even do. Music wouldn't evolve. I'm not saying computers should replace the musicians, I think that computers give musicians the opportunity to experiment, and pioneer - as Fats Domino and Little Richard did long ago...

I had good luck to see Fats live in the 80s. One of the best performances I’ve seen, and I saw many as I worked at a venue in CA as a teenager. RIP.

Jambalaya, crawfish pie, filé, gumbo, food, fun, music on the bayou. New Orleans at its finest. This is such a wonderful hidden gem of three masters and an all star backing band. Thanks for sharing it. Sad that all three are gone but the music lives on in a new generation of musicians even if not to the class of these greats.
