I like the look of those and that Maron colour is fantastic! I have a black pair of Michael but prefer Paraboot’s loafers and their Chambord shoe looks great.
I had a pair of these probably 20 years ago and they were the most uncomfortable shoes I’ve ever had and I rarely wore them. Love the look and the colour the dark brown cafe I had but never got on with them. They lived at the bottom of the wardrobe till I eventually threw them out!
I love these shoes. I’ve loved them for a couple years now but I haven’t pulled the tiggers yet because I mostly wear sneakers and I work from home. Some day…these are amazing looking
norwegian welt / some people called storm wet basically only the small extension of GYwelt that have an extra leather layer outside around the welt area between upper and midsole that makes it more waterproof but chunkier at the same time
@@TimeandTalk i dont think so, nothing special with norwegian welt, just xtra leather imo, redwing also uses norwegian welt on some of their heritage shoes like moctoe 1907 but some people quoted me norwegian welt more expensive to resole, ive asked a real cobbler from japan and he ask for like around $120 usd for resoling my trickers boots, it has norwegian welt on it too and i also think goodyear welt itself already waterproof enough unless u like chunkier midsole if not i dont think norwegian welt is neccessary, aesthetically some people dont like norwegian welt because t makes the boots look chunkier or less sleek looking
I love this shoe, but i'll have to save some money first to get a pair sometime this year. Funny enough i really don't like the Clark's Wallabee, even tho they were inspired by the Paraboots.
Reputation for quality is great, but many won’t have heard of them so don’t have extremely high status. If you look after them well they should last for many years; though obviously won’t be box fresh.
Tbh its one from Amazon. Cathcart Elliot they are called. I have bought cedar wood ones 3 times from Amazon and found them decent. Have bought a more expensive one in the past and it actually fell apart and these are solid. If you benefited from the vid consider subbing😀

Yes the marron are great. Love the Michael. Been looking at the Caraux loafer this week.

I find them quite comfortable, but sometimes different strokes for different folks!
He prob had a shoe that looks and feel hardly anyone pays 500$¥£.
I have 3 pairs black, brown, and wheat Suede.
I love mine most comfortable shoes I own although quite heavy for walking

Yes, really cool and a funky design.

Ah ok. A stupid question that I’ve had with these is will I have to send them back to paraboot to get them resoled?

I’m not such a fan either. They are great shoes!
Not sure if I like them .I'm more of a boot man I have the coniston crockett and Jones in brown .love them .❤️😄👍OUT
Yes love Crockett and Jones
Great video and review. I live in Lyon and there's a Paraboot shop here and I love to go there.
That’s nice of you to say. Yes great brand
Do you know anything about brand reputation and shoe durability/longevity. For $500 usd I want them to look good for years and years.

Where do find these online? No store sells them where I’m located.
I’m in the uk so quite easy. I would just a google paraboot michael to find stockists, but on the uk places like the Hipstore and the modern draper.
Hello was wondering what shoe tree you went with for the shoe?

@@TimeandTalk thanks for the reply, just subbed!
@@itisrighttorebel Absolutely no problem!
And thanks.
How is the heel fit?
Fine if I tie them tightly.
They are hand made also !!
In French is Michel
Did you go down half a size?
No. I have two pairs of pairs of Paraboot and went true to size with both, but the shape of the upper does meant the Michael wear looser.
I personally went a half size down and mine fit perfectly snug. I'm a true EU 41 and went with a EU 40.5 for reference. Hope this helps!
@@zeezee3513 cool. I went true to size but I would always advise trying on.
If u wear half in sneakers get them in whole size not Half .5 …
