Just purchased a Volca FM and I must say I'm bloody glad there's an editor like this for it!

I'd love to see a video on making a lead sound, or maybe making audio effects. Don't worry if you can't though. :)

+Tom Greaney lead gets a vote! The sound effects stuff probably fits into my percussion pack, so keep an eye out for that!

Thank you much! Great video. I'd love to see how you did those percussive bits you posted the other night.

As for next patch requests? Well atm I'm trying to modify two default patches to create new sounds. The first one is trying to turn "Musicbox" into a Doppler-shifting echo using a pitch drop on pt3, a slow square lfo and a slow release on EGr4. The other one is me trying to turn "distortion" into a playable version of The Transformers' transform sound (slow pitch rise at beginning and slow sine LFO) but that's as far as I've got with either.

+Dino Goldie I'll try to work the echo idea into an upcoming video. The Transformers sound... Might be a bit niche for the channel.. But I guess I might fit into the percussion pack I'm building...

How do you make or select the “init” sine wave on the volca fm.

I use the editor I built that I'm using here to send one, otherwise you have to make your own init latch and save it to any slots you want to work with.

"SithZith"?That's 8 characters. The mid/high notes definitely have a "Get Carter"/"The 3rd man" meets "Bladerunner" vibe.

+Dino Goldie SithZith! Absolutely nailed it!!

If Darth Vader played a zither.... Nice pad.

+Dino Goldie haha, now I just need to work out how to express that in the 10 characters we're allowed for a patch name... Any ideas? And what type of patch do you want to see next?
