I've already done inside mount with cellular shades for a few windows, but i want to replace some Roman shades with light filtering cellular shades on my French doors and just making sure there is no gotchas with this. Looks pretty straight forward.
Thank you so much for this video. I put the blinds up myself today (with trepidation!). I would not have been able to without this video! Merry Christmas!
I always add a dap of Gorilla Glue at back of bracket. You can also use a thing strip of Gorilla Tape to hold them in place while drilling tiny pilot holes and adding screws. Let set 24 hours.
Heck the ones I bought from home Depot recently actually had an adhesive strip included on the brackets that held them in place, and it was so useful. Great advice either way!
Thanks for sharing! I ordered some roller shades for my french doors which are steel doors I believe, happy to see it shouldn’t be a problem drilling holes for the brackets!
Thank you lots, it's 2 am and my parents are asleep. I was getting a snack until I saw that the blinds weren't all the way closed which scared me so I went to the door to try to pull them closed but pulled them OFF. Thanks again.
Very well done complete explanation of how to install these. I have a metal/steel door that I want to put these on. So, I can use the same procedure for drilling holes in the metal door? Thanks.
Thank you so much for making this video! I didn't realize how difficult it would be to find something like this but your video is exactly what I needed.
I have the same blinds and I’m drilling into the same type of door. Did you also use 1/8 drill bit for the hold down bracket at the bottom? The screws are smaller so did you use 1/16? Great presentation btw!! Thx
good video until the end where you discuss attaching the bottom of the blind to the door to keep if from swinging around. But for some reason you did not show / explain how to do that part .
This was like having my dad over to show me! Thank you for this simplistic instructional video!
Glad it was helpful!

Is there anything different for a fiberglass door? Am I ok drilling into a fiberglass door? Thanks for your videos!
No it is the same procedure. Just don't over tighten the screws
Thank you !!!
What type of blinds are those? Regular window blinds, or special for door windows?
Regular blind from a big box store.
Thank for the video. Can you please share the product details on the door blinds (model/ link to buy)?

Yes 1/16 would probable work better. Thanks for watching.
What kind of drill do you use? How many volts??
That was a drill that was sent to me by a company. I don't recall the name.. I like Dewalt myself and that one is 20 volt.
Thank you for this video! What is the average width for blinds that you'd put on a door?
Actually it will depend on the size of the door.
Hi what brackets are using and what size are they? Thank you for uploading the video, really useful.
Actually they were provided with the new blinds.
Where is the picture??
Hi what type of bracket are you using to mount the blind to?

What kind of door is this? Mine is wooden on the front but it is hollow. Can I install screws on this type of door?
Yes just be careful not to over tighten the screws.
Can I do the same procedure on aluminum or metal doors?
Yes it is the same procedure
How about a fiberglass door?

I bought them at a big box store.
Is this a fiberglass door?
No it was steel.
What size are the Blinds?
they were 1 inch wide
You did not show hot to clip the top piece on. You did not show how to install the bang protector on the bottom.
Jesus lady?!?! Do you want him to come to your place and install them for you?
😂😂well that would be nice bro!!
If you don't know, you don't know. Dont make someone feel bad when they don't understand and ask a question.
Width and length?
That depends on the width and length of your door.
you toyou took off the nice new modern expensive pull down and put back on these silly cheap old school blinds with the stupid dangling bar????????
Too dark. Cant see what you're doing.
Thanks for watching.
