That dog bone issue is a deal breaker for me. I have a half dozen small scale bashers that go 40mph. I’m not jonessin for another. Being a fan of Rlaarlo I want to see them succeed. Wish they tested for that cvd issue a little more. 😢
It seems like an easy fix that should have been caught before production. Test #1 'Go full throttle and turn left and right a bunch to see if it breaks then report back' 😂
HBX and MJX kinda have the small bashers looked in for that price point. Rlaarlo is by far the nicest next little step up from those. Same I'm sad they messed this up.
They do not test throughly and sent it to customers to test then make a car with the upgrades that the customers found and don’t offer v2 upgrades by themselves only if u buy the new car they did this with terminator

Ok so the video was great and the rc’s just keep getting better and better. Years ago you would never see a small scale rc survive the day. You would just toss them in the garbage and move on. Today we can actually fix them and keep them in our fleet. Awesome stuff my man.

Our Rlaarlo ROG1 broke just about as quickly as yours, and unfortunately before we got any video of it in the daytime. But it broke the rear knuckle. I've ordered parts and just got notification that they shipped. Took a few days just for the shipping notification. We will put humpty dumpty back together again and see how long it lasts! Others have ripped them pretty hard before breaking, so either we got really unlucky, or they have some manufacturing variability. I do see in the comments that @Rlaarlo are saying they are trying to figure it out. Hopefully they do, because this looks like a great little RC!
I like the rog 1 so much I got both colors. Had the red one end of Aug (lucky I actually had it before they actually released it) and just got the black one today. Been since June 15 and today makes the 83rd car I got since June 15 of this year yep, a little bit of an overkill but I’m having a lot of fun. I have some shorts on my channel with all the trucks and cars well most of them. I didn’t even know about the other ones, but I think I’ll just stick with the Roy 1. I really like Rlaarlo brand,have 7 of them now. Great video.
This kind of playing then what more you expect. Play the car like what it should not 'throw' it to the moon then landing with the body or on tire side in full throttle doing multiple back flip. These cars actually already built with enough durability.
Seems like bashing isn't your strongest area, I can't imagine all those cars were that unstable to be on their roof more than their wheels! But does make a good durability test!
They aren't made for little kids for sure. They are hobby grade. Speed and power in a little metal bullet size. I think sometimes testing on Asphalt first might be a bad idea. I know the box for the ROG1 says 14+. I know some 50 year olds that shouldn't touch it too.
The problem is that the differential output cups are to narrow for anything but really thin cvd pins. I had tried using their 1/14 (rlaarlos)first monster truggy cvd's by opening up the cups but I beleibe in the long run all your doing is swapping a failure point for a failure point once the cups get to thin to hold up and now instead of a bad cvd you have a bad diff
The rlaarlo having a 45amp esc vs the other two having a 35amp explains the rlaarlo being able to self right and the others not, also the very different braking.

Took my JSI PT14R out for review and slammed it against a metal pole at 44.2mph....only the front cvd shattered. No other damage...couldnt believe it👍🏻

I just reviewed an older Rlaarlo 14th scale I got 51 or 52 mph on 3s it is a fun little rc it does wheelies for days as you know small scale stuff is harder to jump and drive fast. The one I have has not broken anything lol Maybe they will get it fixed this is why stuff should go out get tested first before production starts I know some cried about MJX supposedly doing this but if we want the hobby to be good and you want free stuff whats the problem?
Rlaarlo has always had an issue with their dog bones. The 1/14 buggies they ended up Offering hardened steel ones over the pot metal ones they come with

The first one I put the wheelie bar on, but with the wheelie bar, it will not self right itself so with the black one and I’m keeping the wheelie bar off. (My red rog 1 The front wheel did pop off when I was using it now I make sure to check them before I use them)
I think considering Rllarlos past, youtube reviews ARE their testers. I think they eneneer something and send it to people ro review and then quickly revise the breakages because that's what they've done already more than once.
It seems to be a growing trend with RC product development from overseas on the whole. Not the best idea, but at least it feels like we are helping to make a better version in the end 👍
If you live where it snows, and they use plows, they'd be recessed into the asphalt, idk if that would be better or worse tho. Either way, yeah they flip ya like a tiddlywink.

Hay I just got the juise rc car, i have one question - at the remote control there is option to go forward and backwards and it works. But if i go forward and immediately not push the throttle it not brack it go forward slowly till the car stop it should be like that? No option to brack the car immediately with out Push the throttle to backwards?

I have a MT-16 and I am extremely impressed with the durability so far. Countless 40mph cartwheels, a 35mph smack into a wooden light pole with the front right tire (didn't break a thing), and multiple hard landings from big jumps.. BEFORE I addressed the chassis not bottoming out issue.. and it's still like new.
That's because things over in China are all technically made by the same company then they give them different names. Similar to how General Motors makes Buick Oldsmobile Pontiac Chevrolet GMC and Cadillac. At least back in the day. Olds and Pontiac are done. My reason for the logic behind the TH-camrs not telling the truth ... is because they get their stuff for free, and they probably sign some sort of NDA. You can have it for free but you can only report the good stuff. That's why I've noticed version 2 version 3 and all the to version 6 on different vehicles. The company's finally listened to the consumer and have to make a version 2 3 4 Etc to correct the mistakes in version 1.
Awesome review man! I got the "juicy" for 100 usd, which is not far from what their real price in China is. They are evolved from the LC/Wltoys buggies and that's why they have weak driveshafts and smaller wheel nuts, just like the Rlaarlo D12. Great cars overall!

The layout is the same, driveshafts are identical, the diffs's are similar, they have the same structure and metal plate design, the arms are a modification, the sway bar system is the same, the shock towers and shovks are similar, etc. It's not a brand new design, it is based on an existing system.

Mine is brand new, on a dirt track the gears started grinding and getting noisy, then the tire fell off. Disappointed in rog1

The layout is the same, driveshafts are identical, the diffs's are similar, they have the same structure and metal plate design, the arms are a modification, the sway bar system is the same, the shock towers and shovks are similar, etc. It's not a brand new design, it is based on an existing system.
@@RinkaiKouen I’m not sure you’re correct, I’d say 99% of parts are different so it’s not really an evolution. The driveshafts certainly aren’t WL and the shock towers seems totally different
