Spa Six-Hours 2009 with Corvette Grand Sport Part1

Tachyon Motorsport joined the Spa Six-Hours 2009 endurance race with the Corvette Grand Sport. Michiel Campagne joined the race with Allard Kalff and Michael Bleekemolen.
In this part you see the training and qualifying sessions. Allard Kalff did the training and Michael Bleekemolen did the qualifying.

Great footage from three years ago. I was at Spa last weekend and the Grand Sport was fantastic again. What a sight to see it leading and ahead of the nine GT40s, Cobras, Mustangs, E-types and all others in a field of 102 cars! (Project 214 Aston copy and a 250SWB Ferrari included as well). A terrific result to come third overall after six hours. Will there be another in-car video of the 2012 race? Thanks.

Not a real Grand Sport, but a nice "tribute car". Looks like it does have a stout motor and the car looks like a handful to keep going where you want it to go. Look at the size of the vent windows and also the steering wheel. Superformance maybe?
