If you want to follow Dimash's career progression over the last five years, here is a song list I usually recommend in semi-chronological order: SOS (d'un Terrien en détresse), either the Slavic Bazaar or the 2017 "I Am A Singer" version. His covers from the same competition of Lara Fabian's "Adagio," Celine Dion's "All by Myself," and Freddie Mercury's "The Show Must Go On." Also, from the same show, Confessa & Diva Dance, Opera 2, Daididau, Daybreak, and Autumn Strong. His "I Am A Singer" 2018 guest performance of Lionel Richie's "Hello" is a must. Then there is Sinful Passion (Greshnaya Strast), Love is like a Dream, Your Love, Olimpico (Ogni Pietra) from Igor Krutoy's channel, Diva Dance (Bastau Concert), Across Endless Dimensions, Ti Amo Cosi (with Lara Fabian and Aida Garifullina), Ulisse (Duet with Aida Garifullina), and Know (both the regular performance as well as the vocalise).
His traditional and Chinese songs are also impressive: Adai+Daididau, Samal Tau (2020 Tokyo Jazz Festival), Qairan Elim (Holy Land), Elim Menin (My Homeland), Karagym-ai. And then there are Without You, Love Of Tired Swans, Where Love Lives, Unforgettable Day (Gakku Concert), I Miss You, Passione, Give Me Love, Marigold, Golden, Mademoiselle Hyde, Screaming, Tu Vas Me Détruire (duet with Sundet Baigojin), his latest music video "Be With Me," just to name a few.
His latest songs, "Fly Away," "Stranger," and "Ave Maria," recently debuted live at New Wave 2021, and the latter two are on a whole new level. Dimash performs an alternate version of "Stranger" on the "Shine! Super Brothers S2" Youku Show that is simply mind-boggling and well-worth checking out. Then there is the release from the 2021 Tokyo Jazz Festival of "Ikanaide," which is absolutely incredible. He sings in almost flawless Japanese. Avoid any performance from "The World's Best" show/competition. The producers' conduct was disgraceful and unprofessional, and all performances were cut and edited to make room for commercials.

Thank you for this nice reaction. The man filmed at the end of Dimash's performance is his father, and Dimash didn't know he was there, it was a very moving moment when he saw him.
Regarding how Dimash uses his mic, you should see Know (New Wave): 1. this performance is mind-blowing, 2. this song is, to me, one of the most powerful I have ever listened to and 3. you can see Dimash moving the mic to adapt the volume of his voice. He often uses this technique (also very clear in Know vocalise version).
He has a full set of skills and controls all aspects of his performances. He is systematically beyond expectations: the ultimate performer, as said by another YT commentator.

And to see the real "madness" - watch Dimash's performance at the GAKKU concert with the song "Unforgettable Day". Dimash showed the highest note there, the keys for which are not even on the piano.

Another enjoyable reaction. Dimash performs here in the fifth season of Hunan Television's "I Am A Singer" competition. "I Am A Singer" is an annual Chinese music competition between famous and established professional singers. The audience phones in to determine the winner after each episode It is the same throughout the entire show; 500 with musical backgrounds judge the performance by points each week.
At 22 years old, Dimash was the youngest participant in the show's history and competed against professional and top-selling Chinese singers as a 'wildcard' competitor. The competition consists of 14 rounds, lasts almost 4 months, and competitors are eliminated throughout the season. Every performance is live, and no lip-syncing or auto-tune is permitted. Pure unadulterated vocal ability only. Dimash's mother later said that he hoped to reach at least the middle stage of the competition.
The song by Russian singer Vitas was already popular in China, so the show's production team asked Dimash to perform "Opera 2" for the second stage of the competition. However, they forgot to obtain permission from Vitas in a timely manner, and he and his team of lawyers would not grant permission to Dimash to perform the song publicly. Fortunately for us, and to the chagrin of Vitas, the Chinese had already streamed the performance online.
Here is the order of Dimash's performances for The Singer 2017. The contest lasts 14 weeks, but Dimash has only 13 performances because he had already made it into the semi-finals by week 11.

The last performance was part of the 2017 Biennial Concert and not the competition. It was broadcast live and is an original song written for Dimash.
Dimash decided to surprise the audience with a lively version of 3 additional key changes on top of the one done in the original. Dimash's father came from Kazakhstan to watch him perform this song and to surprise Dimash at the end of the performance. Dimash won the first episode for his performance of S.O.S., the second episode, and the 6th, for his rendition of "Adagio," a song made famous by Lara Fabian. First place overall went to the famous Chinese 51 y/o singer Sandy. Sandy's first album came out before Dimash was even born. Dimash took second place overall; however, he lost by a narrow margin. He did not earn a lot of points for his performance of "Uptown Funk." Although Dimash did not win the show, he immediately became a fan-favorite in China and now has a loyal following.

Not from the show you referenced, but the Chinese show Singer. Not many of Dimash’s Dears will give any credit to the show you referred to since they were disrespectful to Dimash. Singer stuff is all good (some people don’t like Dimash’s cover of Bruno Mars, but I found it fun.). This one is always a lot of fun.
The audience knows what to expect in the "Opera 2" song.
But Dimash has made it differently by adding that modulation of the tones upwards.
When this song came out, sung by the writer & original sing Vitas Valdasovich Grachev. It was quite a shock.
Especially, Vitas was always wearing a nice suit, hair cut, shining shoes & a handsome face. People didn't expect a high note coming out from him.
This is a song by the Russian artist Vitas. Dimash takes this song 3 octaves higher.
At 6:41, you see Dimash's father. He is hiding, having flown in from Kazakhastan to support his son.

Je hebt nog maar 3 van de ongeveer 40 liedjes gedaan en dus nog een hele reis te gaan die je niet zal teleurstellen.

Singers that sing very loud can't have the mic close, they can only do that when singing softer or they destroy the mic and rune the sound.
Dimash doesn't belong on any talent shows. He would have been discovered without them and it really isn't fair to anyone else.
