#Schumann #Liszt #Dedication #Widmung #Classic #Piano - เพลง
im 18 now, cant imagine the nostalgia i will feel when I'm 70 and listening to this again
Man, you have spoken very fine but kind of painful words🙂
@@babygirl4169 This rendition of Widmung is heavenly, couldn't help myself 🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂

Yes, this piece brings out lots of feelings and made me reflect back on all the years past.
I am closer to 70,
to compliment this Widmung, my choice is Beethoven symphony #7 ( my most favorite piece of all classical music ).
As a none musician, I find both the orchestra version and the Liszt transcription for piano really sums up the 5 flavor of life, Sweet, Sour, Bitter, Salty and finally the UMAMI. It really makes me appreciate being alive.
Give #7 a try now, write down what/ how you feel and see what/how different interpretation you may have
50 years later.
Wish you a Happy journey to 70 and beyond.
@@Traumfanblueheron I like 7th Symphony too! Personally I love Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 5, Movement II.
@@FirstnameLastname-uc5sb
#5 is my favorite Concerto, especially since Maestro uploaded his performance recently.
It's the piece to start the day, while I do the 6 miles walk on sand. And then follow by #7 Symphony. 80 minutes of speed walking and fake conducting ( it's really good upper body workout and helps with balance as well).
We are less than 7300 to go for his 100,000 sub celebration. Can't wait to see/hear the surprise production.
Spread the word about this channel and you can help us get there sooner.
I’m 74 and have played and listed to this piece for close to 60 years……and it always blows me away…….every time.
That sounds exactly like something Liszt would compose!
It isn’t Liszt’s melody, it’s a Lied by Schumann, transcribed by Liszt
@@marcostisanifrancadanese3076 we know, he said that this is something Liszt would've also composed
ㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎ
A little too calm
Does it? I've always thought it sounded very Schumann with it's beautiful and a hint ernest tone, not forgetting the clever melodic contrasts with the harmony.
Liszt's love songs sound much more directly sweet and "desperate" in a way - Try listening to the original piece.
I came back for the thousandth time and I realised... why the heck does this video have only 12k views?!
because he played worse than Martha Argerich's version :)
btw, he didn't play badly, just not as clear and pure as Martha's
@@detuvoldo bruh you can't just compare every single performer with each other?! Also that's very subjective. I usually like Martha's interpretations but I somehow liked this over martha's.
Plus this has nice visuals :)
One of my favourites! Wonderfully played! You’re amazing! :)
Thanks a lot!
@@TraumPiano As you are heading towards the 90,000 subs this weekend, hope you are doing well and just wanted to say Thank You for your beautiful videos.
I find this "Dedication" most touching.
Dang! Why is this so powerful? It's like an inspirational message through music
One of the only few music I've ever teared to
A simple but beautiful song for his (Schumann’s) wife.
Widmung is German for the word dedication, what you are feeling is exactly what Schumann has intended for you to! Personally, it makes me ponder on how far I've come as an individual.
This is sooooooo good!!!! One of the most incredible and emotional melodies.

No soul?
Very very difficult for normal people not be touched/ moved/ stirred after listening to this piece.
I think your playing moved us deeply.. Very impressive!
You are so ~dedicated~ to play all these beautiful pieces
Such beautiful playing...
I can have this on loop for hours!!! It's a very beautiful masterpiece!!!
I’ve contributed at least 2 thousand views this video, lots of love dude ♥️
One of my absolute favorites as well.
Didn’t know about this piece but now I love it!! Wonderful playing as always
It's based on a theme that Schumann had written as a wedding gift for Clara Schumann. Liszt did the transcription for piano solo with the typical fireworks, but the original piece is very beautiful. You can find a scene from the film Song of Love that tells about this song.
Absolutely gorgeous and straight from Heaven! You are so gifted!
Beautifully played! Truly a world-class concert quality performance! Would really really love to see/hear you play Schubert/Liszt's Der Erlkönig
Brought me to tears......
Beautiful!!!
Amazing, as always
헌정 연주 너무 좋네요...그동안 지용 연주 들었었는데 요즘 이 연주 매일 듣네요 :)
Thank you so much for playing this. This is describe how my feel with someone special for me in the past, and it has been 14 years till now.

I wish I could play it as beautiful as you
i wish i can even play it
What piano did you use for recording? The sound is so good!
Btw beautiful soulful playing! This is one of my favourite Liszt pieces :)
Who is your pianist-this was a superb rendition.
Khatia's balcon and Yuja's derriere have nothing on those beautifully expressive hands. Merci inf. from MI/US
I’m not sure that you’d know musicality if it slapped you in the face
Which piece do you think it's more difficult: Liebestraum No3 or Widmung?
Definitely widmung
@@lorenzodavidsartormaurino413 not really imo
@@CopperyVase6760
I think Widmung is more difficult in expressing musically ( individual 's total true deep emotion )
@@Traumfanblueheron yeah
Liebestraum : Difficult Jumps, LH Passages, and Cadenzas
Widmung : Double Notes, Difficult Voicing
1:14 Did you play C there with your left hand?
I first heard this piece in a K-drama named Do You Like Brahms? (I totally recommend btw lol) and I fell in love, I have no words to describe such masterpiece
😍

2:40 HELL NAH BRO IF YOU'RE PLAYING. but also an incredible piece and performance
This reminds me a lot of frühlingsglaube
I came here after watching Kdrama 'Do you like bhrams'
Oh its mee
好きな子がこの曲好きって言ってたんで弾けるようにしたいけど難しい…
2:40 Liszt trans etude no 6 vision ?
Terrible! Liszt would not have played in such a way. He would have been faithful (dedicated) to the composer.
You clearly don't know Liszt.
