Out of all of Imagine Dragons' songs, their songs "I Was Me", "Wrecked", and this song are among the very few Imagine Dragons songs that actually make me cry. With this song, the "Ooh's" at the end always get me. By the time I'm typing this, I'll be turning 28 years old in December and I'm still single and I don't have any friends to hang out with. I'm a very introverted person. I've never been very good at socializing, so this song in particular makes me emotional because it makes me realize how lonely I really am . . . But it also makes me cautiously optimistic about finding that special someone "One Day" and being "That one thing that makes them happy."

@@nerdsman567 Then you have something to love! It's nice to have friends to share your love with, but at the end if the day, all theat matters is that you have somthing to spend your time with. From what I have seen, we only feel alone when we have time/space to feel alone.
After 17 years of dealing with my own mentally abusive marriage, my home being destroyed and then the death of my 30 year old son this year..I give up, I know I will never have to worry about making anyone else happy..I don't leave my house anymore. I just stay home and when I'm not crying from missing my son, I'm trying to do what I can to figure out how to get my house fixed. Thank you for your music tho..it helps to heal some of the wounds of my soul 😢💔

Great beach song. Makes me think of being at the beach with my wife. She is afraid of the ocean but as long as I'm with her she loves it when I lift her up into the waves. This song just reminds me of those time and knowing that her fear has fled, seeing her happy like a child and listening to her laughter mingled with the crashing waves.

Holy shit. I don't know how I've only just heard this song for the first time, but it is unbelievably beautiful in a way I can't really nail down. It's simplicity, it's raw evocative nature... I'm reminded of Israel Kamakawiwo'ole's rendition of over the rainbow. It's just a song directly from the artist's heart to yours through the path of least resistance.
