I had a spinal injury at 16 and even now at 27 I'm still dealing with feelings of loss for who i used to be and what sports I could do. The past 3 years I've been on a journey to improve myself ( cooking, physical therapy and exploring outside my little bedroom bubble ) all thanks to an amazing p.a who has pushed me to get out of my shell and to just be brave for 10 seconds a time. I always watch this film and untouchable to give myself a little boost of happiness and I hope oneday I can find someone that will accept me and my injury.

This movie is wonderful and very emotional.
He reminds me of my son's father, who is going through a dark time. I so wanted him to be at peace and happy in his life. I loved him so much and I still love him for who he really is. Trials show us that unconditional love is most important.
I mean, I have never seen another movie with such beautiful cinematography like this one yet. The settings, the art, the music, everything is just a mood. It gives you the chills, escaping the bittersweet reality of life, takes you to Paris through imagination, walks you through the trees, takes you to cafes, and just feel good.

This is one of the best movies I have ever seen. It has all the feels. It will make you laugh and cry. It has a sad ending yet they touched our hearts with their love....
I've watched it, but now I watch it again ... This is one of those films for real romantics to keep a copy and watch from time to time for the rest of our life. How can such a sad story be so wonderful at the same time? Cara ... a handsome playboy and embittered by what happened ... and she with that joy of Living with a sweet soul and that charming smile managed to soften that heart that had petrified ... With a script and divine photographs allied to a direction perfect formed a couple that could never be undone ... but as it is only a beautiful love story we have to be content ... The world would be better with more stories / movies like that.

The first time I watched this I cried so hard that my mother made fun of me. After I watched this I would cry every time I remembered the scenes and listened to its soundtrack (especially Not Today by Imagine Dragons) for almost a week. Until now I will feel the pain in my heart every time the scene from this movie passes by. Call me overreacting, but I really love this movie. I love every dialogue, every scene, every song, and every second of this movie.

I think this movie was hard on our hearts because somewhere we have been conditioned to 'happily everafter'. But this movie defied it. It showed us romance, practicality, acceptability and most important people may die but if Love is channeled well then other person can live a good quality life. It does not mean that they do not miss their partner, it is just that they get courage out of their love and memories to go out and do what they wanted to and yet not feel alone because the love lives on forever in their heart!!!!!!
You should read the trilogy. Me before you is the first book. You'll cry buckets. But you'll laugh too, and your hope will be restored.
