wow! this is a wonderful tutorial. i was looking for a design for this. i love the velcro and the fact it does't have ties and also that there are pockets on both sides. i spent the day yesterday with a woman of 73 years. i saw she had no place to put her purse. i asked her if she would like one and told her i would make her a tester bag. what makes this tutorial great is the fact you have excellent camera views, really good instructions, speak clearly, and explain the items you use.
Thank you Patricia, for a concise instructional video! I was looking for instruction on making a wheelchair quilt…with no luck, and came across your tutorial for the walker caddy! I am going to try it as soon as I can. I hope you have other videos out, as yours was very well done. Thank you for posting it.
Thank you for your comments. I’m planning to do a video on quilt bindings. My sister is learning to quilt and having a terrible time with mitered corners and closures. Coming soon!
This is an excellent video!! So clear and concise that I didn't have any questions after I watched it. The walker bag that I made for my Mom turned out perfectly. Great job! 👍
Thank you so much for the wonderful instructions for the WalkerCaddy. I made one from a large pattern company and it was more trouble than it was worth. Yours is so easy and doesn't take much material. Can't wait to give it to my sister-in-law because hers is so worn out. I am going to take this to our sewing group at church, Grateful Threads, and see if we can come up with a plan. Thanks again!
I use Collins 1/4" Wash Away Wonder Tape (double-sided tape) to temporarily adhere the Velcro on any project that I'm sewing. My pins and Velcro don't get along. Of course, there are other brands of double-sided tape out there, but you want to make sure you use one that won't gum up your needle.
Thank you Patricia. A friend asked me to make a caddy for her walker to replace an old tattered one. You have given me everything I needed to know in your detailed video.
Patricia, you an excellent teacher and loved your tip on enforcing the pockets. Great instructions and explained it very well. Love that you press and cut all threads. Reminds me of my Home Ec teacher!!
Thank you! I appreciate all the expert tips (the extra trim on your corners) that make the project look especially nice. One question-is it possible to give the pockets an expanded bottom so they can hold more things?
Hi Patricia my mom was wondering where I can find the iron on chalk because I cannot find it anywhere! I would appreciate it if you would let me know. Thank you so much I really enjoyed your video. Maryesther

Thank you for the many practical tips! Using two rulers to keep everything perfectly placed is a great idea I can use on many projects.

Hi Patricia, what machine are you working on? Thanks for sharing this video!
I think it's a Brother, but don't know which model.
Looks like a Brother Innovis.
