wow thats awesome. i have always wanted to do that! since i was a kids i said i would do it someday! We are a youtube from arizona so i love it when i see others from az living the az life! great video guys!
Hey, I’m wanting to climb this in March when I travel to Mesa, but I’m very limited on my climbing gear at the moment. I was wondering if a single 80m rope with tag line would be long enough, or what you suggest. Also, what’s the necessary protection I should bring, at a minimum? Could I get by with nuts and quickdraws or should I bring some cams, and if so what sizes? Thanks
Evan Thayer I’m sorry I don’t remember the climb that well. We rapped off after the second pitch on a single 70m rope. If you plan to go all the way up I’d definitely drag up two ropes. Second pitch was all bolts. I’d read up on some beta sites before you go. Sorry, I honestly don’t remember any details from the climb. www.mountainproject.com/route/105808062/razors-edge
01:40 I can just imagine that little bit of greenery going, "well hello there. What took you so long? Nice day, huh?". (oh, and after seeing how the Old Man in the Mountain in New Hampshire just one day finally dropped off the face of the earth, after God knows how many years it existed ... climbing up on big scary rocks is definitely not for me. I'll find my jollies elsewhere.. :\
I live in arizona, and it's amazing. So many awesome things to do and see.
nice footage, but an intro showing it's location and what it looks like from a distance would be nice
